Great podcast! It brings back memories of my youth with my brother we would hit the orange grove behind our house every afternoon after school to go rabbit hunting. Back then in central Florida deer were far and few in between. For running game an orange bouncing across the back yard was a great substitute. Thanks for the memories.

This was a great podcast! I started hunting with hounds over 30 years ago in SC. Fortunately this year I was Blessed to hunt in SC and GA. Track and Train collars have made a tremendous impact on keeping hounds off neighboring properties. Traditions and great friends is what makes the sport so enjoyable. Not to mention the Fair Chase aspect. May the Good Lord Bless us all by staying safe and keeping hunting with hounds legal!

Great podcast!! Thank you for being open minded and listening to the way 95% of modern day dog hunters try to do the right thing while trying to maintain a heritage for our children and grandchildren that one day could be in jeopardy. Hats off to the Mossy Oak team for putting this one together! God bless and I hope everyone has a wonderful season.

Another really great podcast. I especially appreciated the point of view that it's the experience that makes hunting worth the effort. If I didn't hunt, I would never have had the experience of sitting a few yards off of a game trail on a lease we had in GA and have 15 does picking forbes in mid-November, all within 5 to 10 yards around me. It wasn't doe season, so these girls were not a target.

Unfortunately you have dog hunters tuning out dogs on 50 75 acre tracks. It's time for deer hunting with dogs to be outlawed in Mississippi. People pay thousands to hunt and plant a track of land and every Saturday morning you these dogs running trough screwing up there hunt. It's time for those hunters to have a way to stop them. Without killing the dogs. If you want to dog hunt get you some rabbit dogs or coon dogs. KEEP YOUR DOGS OFF OUR PROPERTY

I believe running deer during the rut should be illegal.
@gotrhino18Ай бұрын
Rut changes year to year, region to region, how can you determine when it should be legal or when to make the seasons? Just curious on your thoughts and no disrespect intended in my question.
