6:15 Great video, but when you change camera angle then it i s a little hard to follow.I think that it works better to focus on the top down angle.

Really wish 4:32 angle was up higher instead of the sideways view! May pick this up. Been into the card resource games recently and saw this while shopping

Yeah, we've been trying to figure out a way to make that more of a wide shot that includes both of us, but at the moment if we tilt it up too far one of our lights is shining right into it, and we can't really more that light anywhere because of the size of the room haha So, don't worry were working on it, but you might have to live with the sideways cam for a little bit longer. haha And I would recommend giving it a try, it definitely a fun reimagining of 7 wonders duel. And don't worry the game doesn't end so abruptly when you actually read the rules thoroughly. 😂

FYI - red military cards allow units to be placed in either location shown NOT both. That may let you get further into the game next time.

Yeah, I didn't realize we had made that mistake until I went back and edited the video. 😂 I had thought that those cards were a little overpowered. haha that's the major rules mistake I mentioned in the beginning of the video. 🤣

Great stuff, that was very entertaining. Tip: for 2 player Everdell just sit next to eachother. Everything is more readible that way, for the viewers as well

This was the most frustrating game to watch holy smokes! Love the game play but you are playing the game entirely wrong😅 I’m sitting here like TAKE THE LOCOMOTIVES!!! You also can’t play routes next to each other in two player version.

I apologize. 😂 I promise we aren't trying to get the rules wrong, also I feel like you might be frustrated with all of our playthrough because I'm sure they are riddled with misplays. 🤣

Totally agree, I honestly feel like it's a little underrated, but that might just be because I get to pretend be a treasure planet boat captain when playing it. haha

@ShadowoftheGame1 lol crazy how it's only $20 on Amazon now. Hopefully you guys get your hands on the expansion at some point. The base game is awesome and super approachable, but you wanna feel like a Treasure Planet captian? Expansion with the added exploration will blow your mind.

@@Faent89 Treasure planet is basically the space adaptation of treasure island and the ships they use in space are like regular ocean ships that are modified to fly in space. so, the ships in windward really give me that nostalgia hit since they look exactly like the ships from treasure planet. haha

Always like to watch playthroughs of this game, thanks for this. However I noticed a rules gaff: when a place sinks the tile is discarded from the game AND so does the card for that tile: see section 3 Page 7 of rule book ' If the matching Island tile is already flooded, it sinks into the abyss! Remove it and the matching Flood card from the game and place them out of play.' You kept the flood card in the game and subsequently when it came back when turning over the flood cards just ignored it and gained an advantage - it should not have been there so you should have turned over a location card that was still in your array. One to remember for the next playthrough. Don't know if you have it, but Forbidden Desert is a the next in the series. Other games I'd like to see playthroughs of are Knarr, Tokaido Duo, Odin's Ravens & Targi

Yeah, I can see how the advanced monsters could make the game all of a sudden horribly complicated, probably better to ease into it. Haha
