We were there…3 generations of Parrot Heads…first time we took our grandsons and granddaughter. I honestly cannot remember how many we’ve been to since 1990…every summer and at times a couple times in the same year. I remember Wrigley early on and Alpine in the same year. Well before the Wrigley of today. And no tailgating. For me…the day the music died was August 30th, 2023. Life goes on but there’s a lot missing from summer these days.

I had a long and difficult day today so I retired to the garage to work on a car project and decompress. I put on this concert replay so I had background music. Found myself singing every song as though I was in the crowd. Troubles melted away and I tuned into that good vibe…..thank you Jimmy. I hope you’re surfing those awesome cosmic waves. I’ll see you again someday, RIP.

We just saw James Taylor at Jones Beach Theater in NY and I kept feeling it was all wrong (even though he was great!). It should have been Jimmy and the Coral Reefers Band up there!! Miss you so, Jimmy Buffet.

Jimmy was in the business of bringing fun and happiness to people. Listened to his music since his early days. When he passed I teared up for days. Like losing a family member.

How are we going to keep going without this man. He made us family at his voncerys and for just a few hours we left this crazy world. God bless you Jimmy❤❤never forgotten.

My wife was one of those who believed Elvis didn't really. We followed Jimmy for over 40 years. She passed in Jan 2024. Now I understand her belief about Elvis because I cannot believe Jimmy has passed, or that my wife has passed. Love them both. We were Cruisers. I have a tough time getting through Jimmy's "Lovely Cruise" and the memories that arise about both of them. I can envision her now at Jimmy's heavenly concerts!

The man may be gone, but not forgotten. This music will live as long as there are parrot heads. My kids can sing every one of his songs. You don't go on a long drive with me and hear ever song he made. Yes, they know the words to "Let's get drunk and >>>>"

Best Memory for me at a Jimmy concert?? I heard he and Alan Jackson were coming to town. I HAD to go! Couldn't get anyone to cough up and cover for me at work. The literal, one and only time I ever "called in sick" (riddled with guilt and panic) I went anyway. S memory maker. I got picked to stand on stage with him and do a shot of his Margaritaville tequila with my paper -mache Parrot named "stiffy" ( He laughed so hard at that one!🤣 and my clock hanging around my neck frozen at 5:00. I got into the line to get a drink and I hear a voice;..."Hello Bettie...Weren't you on the schedule to work today??" My heart sank..it was my Boss in line about 3 people back. The line erupted with gasps and moans. BUSTED! I never called in sick again and had to take more shifts to pay for it. WOW what a memory. Thank you Jimmy. Bubbles Up buddy and I will meet you at the heavenly beach up there!
