Great tire, but they sucked more gas.

Of course it matters. Only buy from China from reputable brands with proper quality control. China left to it's own devices, makes junk.

Chinese tires are sometimes a bit smaller in size than North American tires in height and width. There is one brand of Ag China tires that seem ok and they are Samson brand. I also like a brand from India called Ceat. I like Goodyear and Titan brands the best.

You dont need to be a genius to realise that if you live in an area that has snow from November to March and the temp rarely rises above 5-6 centigrade you need Winter Tyres and possibly studs or chains to go with it ... And especially if that weather is also attached to an extremely hily or mountainous area .... If you live somewhere that gets an odd bit of snow and ice but lots of rain and the weather can sit above 7 centigrade then all weather tyres all year around are a much better option ... Even somewhere with lots of snow and ice if its mainly town or city driving or roads that are kept clear of snow then again all weather tyres are more than capable of doing the job .... Just don't drive like a prick and think your invincible, take it essy and drive to the conditions

Thanks. Now I'll spend 3000 hours researching who makes what tire.Maybe I'll take a trip to China to inspect the factory too. Hope the CCP doesn't arrest me for spying. Useless video.

I have handled both name brand and china brand tires. There is a difference. This is gaslighting at its best. You might be able to buy good products from china but if you're buying cheap sh*t... you get what you pay for. China is the expert at that

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...but at what point does it become theft to copy another company's innovation? But whatever. I have the Michelin's and love them. I feel like every rental car in Canada should have these... then they could do away with the cost of changing tires and charging customers a winter tire fee!

Because the tire is quieter on bumpy roads? Not peoples major concern on an all-weather tire. Michelin is a proven tire, this Goodyear is not. There is a reason another manufacturer is copying someone else's design. Michelin should sue. Thank You

Hate to say it but Chinese tires is all I run. You can buy 3 sets for the price of one name brand that's still made in China. Never had a blow out or issue. Trust me if I could afford North American tires and they made them here I would only buy them. It's not a reality for most people now...

Try Apollo tyres. Not as popular as the bigger names but their tyres are good. As always, check reviews of the specific tyre you are buying.

I was told Michelin Crossclimate 2 was being discontinued. I bought Bridgestone Alenza tires, after watching tire rack review. It’ rated for 80k and I’ve had them about 16k and been very happy so far. Snow in my area was low on amount. Does anyone know the status of Crossclimate2?

I put these on my 6g Bronco and they are working out well so far. During an 8k road trip I got better milage (1.5L/100km) then the stock territory mt tires. Road noise is minimal. Rain traction and hydroplane resistance is excellent. Gravel roads and dry dirt off road they seemed to have lots of traction. I have not tried them out in mud yet. They do pick up rocks, but nothing like the territory mt's did. I find these pretty easy to clean out as well. We just got our first foot of snow and to my surprise they didnt do as well as I had hoped. Its was only -2 out and the snow was turning to ice as soon as you drove on it. Not sure a dedicated winter would have even done well with those conditions. The next few days the temperature cooled down to -5C to -10C and they seemed to do much better. The one thing I didnt hear mentioned in this review is how light they are compared to the other popular AT tires. These were 8lbs lighter per corner than the new ko3 and 4lbs lighter than the C rated Toyo AT3. Wildpeaks are 10lbs heavier per corner. Less rotating mass is going to help with your fuel economy and also less wear on your drivetrain. Hopefully I get a few years out of them.

Had this happen to me with a chrysler 200 that was riding perfect until my first rotation and balance. From that point on had had vibration in the rear of the car, I moved the tires around and the vibrations moved. I went to five shops with road force balancers, some would get it better, but issue never went away. I ended up dumping the car after two years of frustrations.

I have a Kenworth that has seen over a million miles in its life. It would have a vibration at 55mph and it never went away. Because this truck went everywhere on the highways, I had tires of different manufacture, ie. Toyo, Michelin, Goodyear, Firestone etc. installed in different locations and balanced. I had the truck in the shop countless times and everything was checked and parts replaced. Nothing worked. After years of this, I decided to replace the wheels and like something magical, the vibration disappeared. Some things are just faulty and just because they are new and machined, doesn't mean they are perfect.

Got some Nokian Outpost nAT 285/45R/22 tires for our 2019 RAM Limited 4x4 about a month ago. These are the best AT tires I've ever owned for off road and snow. On top of that, they are quiet, they ride as good as a street tire, and the MPG hit was minimal. These tires stick to snow packed roads even on steep inclines. I'm amazed. My wife used to run happalietta's on her Outback and they were the best in the snow, but these Outpost nATs are pretty close.
