I know this is way too late... but no mother should have to say goodbye to their child before their child says goodbye to them... It should be a lifetime of a journey together. I would say sorry like so many others... but in my almost 28 years of life, I've learned that it's almost like a mild-strength Tylenol for the soul, and for a pain that will never cease. What I will say, is that I hope you will be strong for your babe, as he would want you to be.

When I was 12 or so I would sing this song to my dog during thunder storms, and cuddle him to calm him. 10 years have passed since then, and we recently had to put him down. I miss him so much, and I hope I get to see him again in another life.

The lyrics are now goodbye and nows goodbye. Not, "not". Why do lyric websites always get confused on lyrics! Same with Speak To Me, people put "waking through" but it's "breaking through". 🤔
