Any idea on what would cause 1271 through 1278 high to low side open codes on all injectors? I sent my IDM off to have it checked and fixed if it's the problem. I hope it fixes it. But my symptoms were as follows • a lot of white smoke • rpms wouldn't go passed 2500 • weak start • no power up grade It seemed intermittent at first. Problem happened out of nowhere, drove great the day before on a 180 mile trip to my house, the next morning it started up and had a lot of smoke, low on diesel I stopped and filled the tank, closer to my job it started surging and would run fine for about 5 mins then it lost so much power I had to turn around and limp it home. It would backfire, then go back to normal for about 30 seconds, then lose power and backfire again.

Check Cps 1st if you haven't already. HPOP failing or injectors 3 areas I would suspect

What was the end result if I may ask? Replace the module? My '01 has three codes for GPs, but not the P0683. eBay has the Motorcraft module for around $70, the best price I've found.

We all know this ponzi scheme is coming to a halt one day, but here's problem; If i spent the last 20 years listening to the doomers (and the one in my head), id have nothing to show for it. I decided to live like there will be a profitable future, to invest in the market, my business, stock the food and ammo supply, and pray to God there is a future for my son. I don't know what else to do. I can't just clam up like the sun won't come out tomorrow.

Absolutely! That's what I've done as well. But having a contingency location that has multiple uses, vacation, hunting, recreation and if need be a bug out spot all while appreciating in value is a win all around.

There is Gold there is silver er there is Firearms, ammo, Tools, equipment, well kept diesel trucks ANYTHING not coming off a printing press that YOU understand the market in. But anything tangible that is only appreciating in value that can be sold for whatever currency remains is smart. Holding large amounts of cash is not the place to be.

Imagine a huge event.. something big enough to end trading for a while, everyone selling, no .ore quantitative easing, clearing houses un able to close out tickets. I'd rather HOLD something physical-tangible. But in the end it's everyone's personal decision. I think you rode the stock wave long enough. Might be time to catch another wave in anticipation of what's stated to come. Read the WEF Manifesto..they spell out what theyrgoing to do to us.

Check the fuse, wiring and relay for the IDM check IDM fuse #27. Good place to start I've seen Glowplugs throw this code also.

A full driveshaft rebuild cost me 350.00 on another truck and was smooth as butter after that. A loose yolk can cause it as well which gets fixed during rebuild.

Sometimes you get a P1316 - IDM Codes detected. Sometimes you get nothing. Sometimes you get a DTC, Sometimes the CEL comes on and goes off with throttle demand. The IDM can send a lot of mixed signals for the same problem from my experience. Best bet if you suspect an IDM issue is disconnect the batteries, pull it and send it to get tested.
