Good review and consistent with other reviews of this model. Are you still using this or have you moved up to a higher end model.

You dont attach it to a stud? That seems like a lot of weight for drywall screws.

Some people say the drawers don't fit. It is not that the drawers are made improperly. It is that there are a few errors in the instructions for assembling the drawers on page 7 of the instructions (2022) copyright version shows the right drawer slot panel (12) an the left drawer slot panel (11) in the wrong position. The locations are flipped . both instruction paragraphs 18 and 20 have these errors. The drawer hardware has to be mounted so the boxed end of the slider is to the front of the drawer it is very hard to tell from the illustrations, the back end of the drawer slider is the opened-ended tapered down portion. If you reference the assembly drawing on page 11 you can see the conflicting drawer side panels. This video also says that the drawer sides are laminated MDF. The ones that I purchase in March 2024 are hardwood composite. Just the drawer bottoms are MDF. Don't glue anything unless you have test-fitted it first. They back out the screws a bit and glue if that is your plan. if you assemble the drawers as the instructions say then the drawers won't fit in properly, unless you modify the boxed end slider that is in the wrong position by bending it back. You will still have an issue that the drawer will not fully open because the detent mechanism is too far forward. There is another video review of this product that is showing the assembly on the older four drawer version and He complains because the drawers don't fully open, that's because he assembled the drawers incorrectly. I do find it remarkable that years have gone by and these errors have not been identified by the manufacturer and corrected.

No matter what the comments may say, it's a do it yourself job, NOT listed as a professional job. You did great from the beginning to end, and it looks great. Congratulations on your accomplishment...

The simplicity of your design is great. One concern though. Your t-track is mounted about an inch above the saw fence. Even with good hold down clamps you are only bracing the top. This is extremely difficult to square it to the table top and maintain that alignment for any period of time because the bottom is not supported at all. Perhaps cutting dovetail grooves from the bottom edge and using the "L" type clamps to give support throughout the height of the insert would maintain a square and better clamping to the fence!

You missed installing four screws that further secured the base to the top laterally. Also, in the beginning of assembly, one of the cross pieces has a Yukon sticker. I put it upside down. Only cosmetic but I'm too lazy to turn it up right.

My front door sticks at the very top. I've adjusted the hinges so there is an even gap on the latch side top to bottom. The door still binds at the top. Is sanding the only solution?

24 wide, 18 depth. Everything is 3.5 in wide except for the boards that lay across horizontally. Most of the boards are between .5-.75 inches in thickness. It’s all pallet wood, nails and holes left in, no sanding at all just some finish oil. Oh and it’s 26.5 inches tall.

For the "probe" at 00:31 , instead of using a drill bit, you can put a rigid 16" insulation hanger (or even a length of snipped wire clothes hanger) in your drill and make a very small hole, to check for studs.
