Bill Monroe facilitated and oversaw the abuse of dozens of students at the hands of John Harvey, presented in this video at the 4:08 mark despite the university's promise after the investigation into his misconduct promised to remove all record of his tenure at the university. I, one of his victims, still feel the impression of his abuse on my life, career, and psyche to this day. But it was the abuse pipeline led by Monroe, Jodie Koszegi, and Robert Cremins (along with other faculty members like Andy Little and Brenda Rhoden) who remind me that the Honors College is not a safe place for students. Really disturbing to still see them present in promo material.

Let’s hear what Acci Smith had to say. “The boy is a cold-blooded murderer," "He is not a victim of racism. He's a cold-blood, calculating murderer." This is the problem with leftists like this young woman. Wokeness makes her see things through a skewed paradigm. It has led her to believe she is “privileged” and therefore has an unjustified advantage over poc. Every poc in jail or on death row must be there because of institutional racism. This young woman appears to be a poc so it’s unusual to hear her say she has “privilege”. Probably makes her feel better about herself for saying it as if she is doing something productive. We have seen what happens when the implications of this bad idea is carried out. The correction to mass incarceration? Under incarceration like in LA. If there are injustices or a procedural violation that we should be willing to see to it that they are corrected and that justice is done. But that’s a far cry the goal of Woke leftwing activists which is to get rid of the DP and radically change the legal system LA style.
