Brave guys saving lives. I know Alistair and he's a lovely guy. St Abbs is a lovely little port and the Head is National Trust, but the sea can be very dangerous around there. It's popular with divers and kayaking and still retains a few fishing boats. Now the Lifeboat is run and funded by the locals and donations, not the RNLI.

I had hypothermia with pleurisy and guess what you don't release you are cold anymore. Every time I tried to breath deep, I ended up with a deep sharp stabbing pain in my lungs. One the the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had.

Why? Ours do the job well and are strategically placed to cover our coasts at close intervals so can get to casualties quickly.

To say people are unhappy with the RNLI is a vast understatement. I hope one day the RNLI are brought to justice and criminally punished for their illegality and treasonous people smuggling activities. Encouraging people smugglers has lead to an ever growing number of drownings you are supposedly their to save lives!
