I hate the potholes in Bellingham. Are the ones who run the place doing this on purpose? Your potholes on Meridian bent our rim and ruined our tire. Nice going City of Bellingham. Too bad you can't use our tax dollars wisely.

Very entertaining, but also extremely strange. I think the premise of the book is all wrong. If you really look at it, the story would’ve been if the Italians beat the US in the Olympics. The United States was absolutely dominant. We never lost the gold medal in eights from 1920 to 1960. If the University of Washington would’ve lost the trials in the United States, one of our other boats would’ve won the gold medal. In fact, we probably had four boats that would’ve won the gold medal. So it’s really no big deal. The story here is if the Italians beat us in the gold medal race.

My point is the United States was absolutely dominant in eight man shells. We won the gold medal from 1920 to 1960, uninterrupted. The Italians had a really good crew that year. Older guys. Very big very strong. We only beat them by a few feet. The bigger story would’ve been if the Italians upset the mighty Americans. That’s the story. The United States probably had four crew at home that would’ve won that gold medal. I don’t see the big deal about the university of Washington winning the medal. There were a lot of American crews that would’ve won that gold medal. We were absolutely dominant for 40 years. Go look it up.

To this day they will destroy their tents and take everything they own regardless if it's sentimental items or not. I've seen them rip people out of motorhomes nice motorhomes that run. Telling them they got 5 mins to grab their items or go to jail and then tow their home. Completely unconstitutional. In humane. Totally illegal. Put more people. On the streets. Some camps I understand cause they trash places but not everyone is like that. 😢😢😢😢

After visiting downtown Bellingham I came across some homeless folks and decided to learn more about this. I was surprised about a homeless encampment behind Winco Foods. I never suspected it whenever we shop there. It's sad how folks end up like this because of affordability, mental health or addiction issues. I wish all the homeless have shelter and have their lives turned around.

The BWC is not true transparency when the police dept has total control over footage. They want to charge $250 just for a single video. There's no transparency in that.

I was moving into a house that day on Michigan street and the corner of Kentucky street in that duplex. My brother and I were playing basketball, I was 6 he was like 17-18. His 3 friends walked by with fishing poles and stuff, and asked us to come along. My brother asked my mom, and she said he could go if he took me too. He wanted sunflower seeds though (he was addicted to those damn things) so he was gonna run down to 7-11 by foot and come back, then we were to meet up with his friends. I continued to play basketball until all of a sudden my house was enveloped by a BLACK cloud. I’m trying to find my interview as a 6 year old, I think it was on KVOS? But we were evacuated and given supplies like toothbrushes, and then I was interviewed.

My condolences for the loss of your son. I lost my brother about 4 years ago he was murdered in his own home. And there's not a day that goes by a sense he's been gone and I feel that there's a part of me that's gone too it's like someone cut off my right arm and being right-handed I can't seem to do things the way I used to I can't seem to feel or see things the way I used to? So I do have an understand for what you're going through. You are one of the lucky ones I chose to better off your life after losing someone so close to your soul and heart. Not all of us are that fortunate but I know that my brother would want me to be happy and to move on. I'm still working on it but one day at a time God bless and you take care.

Couple different thoughts. People in such need of work that come from Mexico must’ve had pretty poor working conditions in order to be willing to strike and lose their job. Granted, they might have thought that if they all strike together that They wouldn’t be fired, but it’s still a big rest to take so I assume they must’ve had good cause to do it. I also don’t know how their employment kick them out without going through the legal addiction process, because often tenants rights regarding landlords are pretty solid in most places. But obviously I don’t know if this place and I’m not interested enough to do the research to look it up, even though that wouldn’t take long. Last thing I’ve noticed, it’s hard for the police department to claim they didn’t do what they were accused of doing when they muted so much conversation. I understand then redacting certain audio, before the end of the video The police department muted a significant amount of the video. Obviously the police did work to help with problem-solving, and that’s good, but from the description it seems to be implying that the police didn’t threaten the Mexican workers, and if that’s what the police department is saying then that cannot be proven because they needed such a significant amount for the end of the video.

My grandfather told me of this bank robbery when I was a teen in 1970. He informed me he knew the child who was shot and killed near the railroad tracks by the robbers were shooting their way out of the bank. Grandpa was 12 years old at that time. I’m happy that a little research on my part has led to the discovery of this presentation and also to a filmed documentary of this incident. By the way, Collins Road in Sterling Washington, just outside of Sedona-Woolley, is named after my Great Grandmother’s family who had a farm on that road.
