In Otley the local parkrun the Chevin Forest has been cancelled and this morning the PECO cross country has been cancelled also . I enjoyed watching your film Olga , well done everyone .

Thank you, Antonio. It was lovely and snowy this morning in Preston. I was going to do Scouts Scar fell race but it was cancelled because of the weather conditions. This afternoon it's been raining already though. I wonder if any snow will stay till tomorrow.

Great video. What type of running shoes would you recommend for a race like this?

@@inatehex I run in fell shoes. I always buy More Miles, they are cheap and have a good grip. Most people use Innov8 (Innovate) fell shoes. Fell shoes have a better grip than trail shoes. Happy New Year 🎊!

Hi Antonio. I am definitely not a machine. I run slowly, so not like the proper fell running beasts, so my racing doesn't require a lot of recovering.

I never used to be scared of the cows when I was a child but ever since we got a dog they are always more curious and come towards us, the ones with calves are protective. I know they don't mean any harm but I don't want to accidentally be trampled on by them.

@@OlgasBritishFells we run most Sunday mornings from Scorton, we always try to run off road. I run with Anthony, you’ve met him on inter club races and fell races.

5:10 - a mistake in the video - it's a RUINED wall not a bent in the wall (the bending symbol to the right of the feature - wall (cp15) means 'ruined').

The snowy walk to Darwen Tower looked lovely! The first snow really added a special touch to the moors. A nice way to spend a day out in Lancashire. Thanks for sharing!

@@tonypilki3 I know, it's like a separate world with its own microclimate. You can always rely on Darwen Hill for snow even if there's no hint of it in Preston. 2 years ago, I once went there and there was so much snow there, it was like a winter wonderland. I have a video somewhere about it here. When in Preston at the time, there was nothing.
