52÷13×2.if you apply Bodmas then divide first. 52÷13=4×2 =8. Of you apply pemdas you multiply first. Now this is where many make mistake. It is 52×2=104÷13=8. It os not 13×2 but ÷13×2= 2/13. Furthermore use basic rules. The rule for division is invert and multiply. Simple yet people are making so much of fuss over a grade 5 maths

This is a simple and unambiguous problem of division, a÷b, where a = 52 and b = 13(1+1), which simplifies to 13(2), or 26. 52÷26 = 2. Simplify (p&e) first, then apply the order of operations. Also, when going from implicit multiplication, 13(2), to explicit multiplication, 13x2, don't forget to enclose the factors involved, 13 and (2) in brackets, like this (13x2). 2*3 = 6, and 6÷6=1, but does 6÷6 = 6÷2x3 or 6÷(2x3)???

In the min. 1:30 you are absolutely WRONG to write *17* as solution, because if you want to divide 52 by this operation ~> "13×(1+1) ~>13×1 + 13×1 = 26", then you need to divide 52 by ALL 26 = *2* !! But you *"took & considerated"* the number ~> 13 for 2 TIMES(1time by *dividing* & 1 time to *sum* it😮) and all this is not correct😱!! Therefore for me *2* isn't the correct answer, because the ONLY ONE that need to divide is the number "13", so al last correct we have *52×2 ~~~~ = 104÷13= *8* 💪🤙😂 13

The problem with using mnemonic devices is that people interpret them literally and in the order that the letters appear.
