Nathan, can you have more than one cue playing at the same time?

Only one cue marker can be triggered on the timeline. You will need another Cue that has all the elements you want fired off.

You can bounce that performance to the timeline so you don't have to rely on Cues all the time. Its just different ways of working. -Nathan

Gosh. If we only had a DAW dedicated to sound for picture and immersive audio with the MPC channelstrip on every channel. Wink wink Seriously tho, have you guys ever considered what Steinberg did with Cubase and Nuendo? Have Mixbus pro/32c for music production (like Cubase) and Mixbus MP5 for sound for picture and immersive (like Nuendo)? You guys have the expertise both in hardware and software and more important, the legacy and foot on the ground in both industries to pull it off. Too bad I missed the deal. Looks (and sounds) like a great plugin. I will probably end up buying it anyway. 😂😂

Harrison Mixbus has been great for me for mixing ambient and other prog rock type songs. Definitely need to upgrade to v10, hope to see some sales soon :)

I don't personally as I have a Faderport 16 in my studio and I don't need 360 as Mixbus gives me all the processing I ever need. 360 is really made to be used with other DAWs that requires plugins to do any processing. -Nathan

I really love these short tutorials. My friend "Object Frank" introduced me to Mixbus 32c V6. I remember you had a combo plugin special with it. I watched all "McFarland Studios" video on mixbus to learn this DAW. Good time, good times. Just wanted to say I love everything. I like the feeling , even if it's digital it feel so real. And to People who complain about the look, (they are probably bootleggers anyway), go back to your lollipop looking DAWs, you probably don't use it anyway, you wanna change it for yourself and still not use it, and we'll be left with a crappy colorful, new age DAW that you will not even use. 'cause this is real production, not eye candy. Shut up, we love it here, we went for it, for this very purpose, not to look like you, we won't be like you. Mixbus is beautiful, it looks smooth... Mixbus is perfect the way it is.

Basically Ardour8 with a custom mix panel. Still good though. I love how it still has the sam UI as Ardour.

it's different from ardour bc it's got an analog modeling sound engine based on the harrison consoles. I generally disklike ardour but this is definitely worth the $.

@@HarrisonAudio I'm using Universal Audio Apollo 16's (x2)...I have a Sony MXP-3036 and a couple racks of outboard for capture, summing, etc...At the very least, I have a hardware signal chain I use for all my mixes and can't get it working correctly using the same setup I use for the previously mentioned DAW's...!...Thanks

Shift+= will zoom in and Shift+Ctrl+= will zoom back out. Shift+scroll wheel will do zoom vertically one track at a time.

Thank you for responding so rapidly. When I was searching the keyboard shortcuts list it didn't occur to me to search for 'expand' and 'shrink' - still getting used to your terminology...for me it's kinda counter-intuitive that horizontal zoom is defined as 'zoom in' and 'zoom out' but vertical zoom is 'expand track height' and 'shrink track height'. While i'm here, is it normal for customised key bindings to vanish overnight? Luckily I saved my preferences from several days ago and was able to reload the 'mixbus.keys' file when I started today and none of my new key bindings were there any more, and the .keys file was missing from the preferences. Sorry if this isn't the appropriate place to be asking this.

If you make custom key commands they should stay intact. Expanding track height is what is happening when doing a vertical zoom.

Which versions (old & new) of Mixbus already have this Mastering EQ? Did the old Mixbus 32C have it?

MIxbus has always had a XT Mastering EQ. This is a AVA Mastering EQ that can be used in any DAW. -Nathan

That is correct. XT plugins are in LV2 format and not supported in other DAWs other than Reaper and Ardour.

Can you add a feature where when you click on any plugin.. it will come front and tge size would be double just so we could see it more properly... something like this ? A 3d effects type.. does it support 90fps ?or its on 60 max ?

Thats not the purpose of having a console style workflow. You can already add any plugin you want but the mixer is what it is. You can make it bigger in Preferences/size and scale -Nathan

@@HarrisonAudioextremely sorry for my immature comments as i had zero idea about this daw.. and I just discovered it like last night ( Indian time ).. after researching more about this daw, i fell in love with it as soon as I got to know that it's all based on Analog mixing style.. Idk why but I still wanted to say that ( why the hell it didn't pop out when years ago i was trying to learn mixing mastering ).. because I got to know that we as young audio engineers mix and take decisions based on the frequency we see on the EQ viewer and the same goes with compression.. the mixing decision is happening based on view and not sound.. this daw eliminate that thing and force to use ears more than visuals.. also one bad thing about this situation is there are less creator making content about this daw.. Right now I am a student but trust me once i become stable financially I will get this daw ( Top tire version )... ❤️❤️❤️ Enough of other daws.. this one feels authentic Whoever had this idea of creating something like this deserves love money and success man.. I hope I will see more updates in the coming years.. 🎉

Saw couple of videos... Its only superior for mixing and mastering.. but production is little slower and tougher side.. where as FL is best for production but sucks at mixing.. idk where to invest my money 😭

I recently got Mixbus Pro 10, hoping for a better SSL and Harrison workflow, similar to my API workflow in Luna. Unfortunately, I’m regretting it. My Plugin Alliance plugins won’t authenticate, even though they work perfectly in Pro Tools, Luna, Ableton, and Ardour 8. I can’t load any Soundtoys plugins, and the DAW crashes, forcing me to shut it down on my Mac by force quitting it. I really want it to work, but it’s proving unreliable, even as I overlook missing features like ARA that I rely on in Pro Tools. I sent a message some days ago and I didn't get any reply 🤦‍♂

While I do like the simple and effective workflow of the plugin, the female vocals need excessive use of dynamic eq around the 1.3k region. Really sticking out unpleasantly and at 06:03 they even distort. I personally would try the AVA Multiband as first aid but it's probably something that should have been fixed in the mix.

the mic got a little hot during recording so its nothing that the plugin could take out. This is not a perfect mix but just used as an example. Strive to get your mix the best it can be then mastering will be easy. -Nathan
