I have this keyboard for 7-8 years I think and I play hours everyday and don't have any problems with the keyboard, is like a tank! I really love everything about this keyboard

Don't waste your money. The keyboard doesn't work even after using the utility they recommend, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, restarting computer, etc. IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. It's a useless paperweight.

What about charging it ?

I just bought one now. No creaking. Maybe they fixed that issue or you might have got a defective one. Or you said you had it over a year maybe it's from wear?

Can I buy this combo and use a wireless mouse of my own?

There is something charming about this mouse, but it's not enough to justify the price for basically aliexpress mouse with MS badge. We have already few of them in company storage with broken wheel.

ey man I just bought this combo after watching your review. Somehow the mouse cursor can't move straight horizontally and vertically. I tested it in Paint and while my old wired mouse could draw a straight line most of the time, this new wireless one can't. I'll provide a comparison video to demonstrate my point if you want.

I bought this and my mouse works but the keyboard doesn't work at all, I have kept changing its batteries alas nothing works. I checked on my friends' laptops too and keyboard still doesn't respond

wtf it sounded hollow and creaky like that?? im usially did not get swayed away by cons but this is bad when it creak like that its like buying a sport car but with cheap knock off like interior thanks man you're a wallet saver! now I'll pick logitech m590 instead cause it's same price and have better quality. plus here this mouse cost $30-60!!! it's crazy

The problem with this mouse is the scroll wheel axis. It's a plastic axis that breaks after a few months of daily use

What shame, its a sexy mouse and i prefer to hold with a claw grip. That creeking noise was a deal breaker..

I was split between getting a Sculpt Mobile & this Apple-wannabe as a laptop companion. This was because the Microsoft Designer had Bluetooth & was cheaper, but I questioned the ergonomics which were stated in this video.. On the other hand, the Sculpt Mobile had a Windows button & sideways scrolling at the cost of a higher price tag & a USB port. That was until I saw the Sculpt Comfort for the same price as this mouse in Australian dollars ($39.20 AUD) because of a storewide sale for Microsoft stuff. It was a perfect blend of what I wanted from both (sideways scrolling & Windows, larger size & Bluetooth and being more ergonomic whilst having the swipe gestures on the Windows button) and after hearing the horrendously hideous pile of rotten apples that was the creaking from this rejected project from Steve Jobs, I'm ever so grateful for getting that for a 2017 Lenovo Yoga.

I bought this mouse as part of the designer keyboard, the keyboard is fantastic but the mouse is very uncomfortable to use, I don't have the squeaking noise but the square shape of the mouse is not user friendly

that clicking sound is probably only on your unit. I just bought mine today and it clicks super smooth. i don't have any cons for it.
