I was the 10th placed Tristan player at this regionals. Was one of of the best and well ran events I have been to. Meta was super diverse and it was a ton of fun!

I think green Tristan and water / wind Tonoris deserve a better position, playing tournaments in my store we have found a lot of potential for both decks and are winning a lot of tournaments

I feel like ppl are still thinking that forcing the alt Tristan will make the deck better while still playing really aggressive, that is why it's still so low in tier. Don't misunderstand: it's a great card, but you need to be more controlish if you really want to play it.

what's crazy is that I find multiple variations of wind automaton deck to be more consistent than tristan 3. Hopefully we will see viable Tristan 3 gameplay since the mechanics are really fun.

The answer to the question about the beast bond boots is absolutely but I also think rai is a bad matchup for Silvie along with merlin and erupting. A few of my choices including safeguard boots and morgan were in anticipation for people to play more comfortable decks i/e merlin, rai, Luxem and erupting. I wanted to tech heavily for those matchups because I expected to see them. 13:57

So when I made the sideboard I actually only had 68 sleeves left over in a box. That was the max in my head so I didn't buy another box the last time I was at the shop. It hit me the next day that it wouldn't accommodate the new side size so I just had to play it DOA style, haha

5th and 6th are the same deck. It is missing the Nico deck

I will say for my list I only ran 1 AG cause I only had one at the time cause my playset didn't come in time but ideally I want to run 2-3 along with 3-4 DG and end on 5 or 6 in total between them because Blissful Calling is pretty my main tool for searching missing combo/kill pieces in the deck and it being able to add AG is really good to up my Animal/Beast count and it basically acts as a 1-3 with taunt where either I get a free lvl 1 or stick with the normal game plan of banishing slime cards in the memory for my level up to go up the damage on Storm Slime and its still fodder for Gaia's Blessing. Escape the Wreckage is a very good card and slimes like Green Slime & Gray Slime cause of intercept usually force the opponent to crash into it and Escape lets me safe it and nullify that battle instance along with drawing a card into memory keeping card economy neutral. It also has good interaction with Baby Gray & Green Slime.

Went to my LGs and saw that they still had Tristan decks I go up to the dude and ask “can I get that Tristana deck” he looks at me for a second confused but eventually puts it together and I buy my deck. I hop in the car super happy but then it hits me and I was mortified. I feel better now that I’m not the only one so thanks

Tempest Downfall cannot deal 6 to champions since the extra damage clause only applies to allies, it can still deal 3 to face though.

Idk, accelerating Merlin’s level scares me. The card they draw could be useless but the level will always be useful for fireball or incarnate majesty
