Very good combination of airframe and engine. I don't recall seeing any other examples so well matched for speed and sound. Recognize the HP on the tail as being on Howard Pardue's Corsair many years ago, met him once at an airshow.

That's one beautiful model, and I understand the time, and expense involved. However, I'd love to see it do a little more than make left handed circles. I'd hate to see this stunning model destroyed, but it is a fighter, capable of a loop, or a barrel roll. Not suggesting you try anything until you're comfortable. Looking forward to another video. Awesome plane!
@Teus01
@Teus01 Жыл бұрын
Loop oké but barrel roll with a Pup…….. Did you ever saw the real one doing one? And with this engine/ model combination not possible at the moment, way to less power as you noticed…… We are planning a new lighter model for this engine but you don’t have to expect big performance from this rotary engine…….
@LoganPresley-rl4wr
@LoganPresley-rl4wr Жыл бұрын
@@Teus01 ok. I think it can hold a 1 g barrel roll tho, with the right deflection on the control surfaces, and utilizing engine torque. Don't crash it tho, I want to see more videos.

It's a wind driven fuel pump to supply gasoline to the engine. I doubt it's functional on the model and is just a scale detail of the actual aircraft.
