It wont because the Shuttle doesn't work all the time, and they close the doors and lock the entrance

The only time when they'll leave it open 24 hours is when the (7) is not running to Manhattan. That's when the Shuttle runs to help out.

Idk why they won't keep the walkway open when the shuttle isn't running. Just clutters the subway map having to not the closing time.

⁠⁠@@DezliteI don’t see why the platform can’t still remain open as a passageway when the shuttle isn’t running. The countdown clocks can just say “No shuttle service during late nights. Use 7 instead.” Also, in case you’re wondering if this passageway will ever become accessible, when Bryant Pk station does, the answer is yes, it is planned.

thank goodness!!! My friend is in wheelchair and he takes the shuttle to and from work, the old shuttle didn’t have that.. now it does, thanks for the info
