CZ-USA was contacted and pictures of this defective Barrel was sent to them. They promptly responded and advised that nothing could be done because the rifle was out of the 5-year warranty. This rifle has been shot only once at the factory and should have never left the factory. With the initial lands so smeared this rifle will most likely be very inaccurate. It should be noted that CZ would not stand behind their product even in light of such an obvious defect. This type of defect results from a barrel clamp slip as the carbide rifle button is inserted to cut the grooves in the barrel. Extremely poor quality control
