Telling the feds your stories and how you use and love the trails is useless, never has never will change things. Until Utahans stand up and FORCE Utah politicians to take back authority over Utah public lands and tell the Feds NO. The trails will continue to be closed. I have lived all over the country and have seen this in multiple places, nothing changes using the Feds system.

The Barracks Trail is named after the barracks in the area and it's pronounced "Bear X" not "Ba Rocks" but this one made us chuckle for sure :)

Henry David Thoreau would roll over in his grave if he knew people were equating ATVs riders to what his vision of wilderness is. He would never want anything like these things running around out in the wilderness. Leave your motors at the trailhead and set out on foot and stop ruining nature with those silly things.
@AtYourLeisure27 күн бұрын
Those are designated trails they are on and if the rules are followed no one is disturbing any of the natural beauty. Many people also choose to enjoy motorized sports because they are unable to hike or venture out into the wilderness on foot and we don't want to discriminate anyone with disabilities. Public lands are for all to enjoy and that's why there are designated areas for motorized recreation.

HHH is special to us. It was once owned by a couple of gentlemen in Lexington and we heard it flying over our home 30 miles north. We tracked it down and Mr. Trapp gave us a tour and my son got to sit inside. It was a great time. We attend a nearby show every year called 'Wings and Wheels' hosted at the Harrison County Airport.

We are a 30 min television show that is based out of Utah and is not broadcast everywhere so we get our content out through KZbin so all of our fans can enjoy the show. You came across a full episode of the show and that's why there was other content not related to cross country skiing at White Pine Nordic center. Sorry if we wasted your time or our video wasn't what you were looking for. I also posted the video just containing the Cross Country skiing at White Pine Nordic center below if you're trying to avoid the rest of the content of that particular episode.

I planning a trip To Bear lake and peter sinks for riding and leaf peeping for next fall. When was this ride done, recommendation for when to do a fall color ride?
@AtYourLeisureАй бұрын
This particular ride was on 9/29 and Chad said he thought they were a week too early. Unfortunately every year will vary based on temperature so it's very hard to say the exact week when leaf viewing will be best but usually anywhere from 9/25 through 10/15 will be your best bet.

We need to keep the outdoors accessible to everyone. Be respectful of the land, and other people on the trail. There are hiking trails, biking trails, and off road vehicle trails. Share the trails, and not every trail has to be open to all forms of transportation. But the ones that are open to motorized vehicles, need to stay open for all to use, and enjoy.
