I had one claiming she lost her I'd in Afghanistan going by the name sofia jefferson. She kept guilting making excuses that she needed to get her I'd sorted couldn't access her bank account and asked me to set up bitcoin or cash app or a bank account so she could send me her wages. But she told me she needed £700 to get her I'd fixed and didn't want her superior finding out she had lost her I'd even though she had gone for an appointment with him 3 weeks earlier. I blocked her and cut her off. It's disgusting how these people have no problem playing with your heart emotions like that and steal your money and try to steal your life. These people are nothing but absolute scum and need to be exposed for the fraud criminals they are stay safe online everyone.

While they didn't get my banking information and I didn't lose any money, all my personal information was on the W-4 I sent out and my driver's license! I reported them to both the FCC and the BBB.

Have no money connected to that email account. Probably some sort of scam but it's not asking for authentication or information so it's weird. Deleted it for now

I've just got a call and I'm not familiar with this scam if it is one. They said someone is trying to open up a card in my spouse's name in another state. They did not ask for any information except repeatedly ask where they were, as it was it was in their name.
