Carn is honestly one of my favorite side characters.

Honesty the fight scenes are always excellently written in this story.

I really connect with Eregon's struggle as I have 8 bulging discs from T5-L4 and the pain started when I was 16 with a really bad spasm that also obliterated everything except for the burning knife like stabbing sensation mid back to lower back. Mmm... chronic pain😅

Fate sure has a funny way of doing things, through Eragons own actions when denying the Razacs request he’s thus sealed his fate of leaving Alagasea. Eragon knowing his future set him on a path of avoiding said future, but instead he ended up inevitably fulfilling all of that was prophesied. Angela told him his path was one rarely built upon the foundations of HIS own choices, and now we see the consequences. Top 5 novels imo, i’m loving this shit.

I love the book but couldn't listen after few minutes. Voice was terrible, very fast, sloppy and VERY flat. Occasionally stumbles, gasps and mispronounces words. She should take a speech class/listen to professionals to learn.

There are no other spellcasters but the 3 that are hiding. Why doesn't eragon just use the killing words? Or drain the energy from the soldiers until they die? He's not that bright is he?
