Just tried these Script actions and no matter what user and format i try (domain\user, local admin, machinename\local) always getting permissions denied error.

Permissions denied at what point? Trying to run the action or in the output of the script? On the desktop, check if this folder path exists: C:\Temp\vrho-mp-scripts\ If so, then go to the script folder and try manually run it using the script-executor.bat. You can then read the output.txt file to see if the same permission issue exists. You can also try manually running the .ps1 file to see if any permission errors are displayed.

@@cameronfore8514 in the output in Aria console. I can try running script on the machine and it probably will run. But i wanted to run it from Aria console 😊

@@wroot_lt understood, but the above steps will help understand where it is breaking. Part of the authentication depends on your rights in Aria and the vCenter Adapter account's permissions in vCenter. If that account doesn't have the necessary rights in vCenter, then you won't be able push and execute the script to the VM. If the bits are at least making it to the temp folder, then I at least know it made it that far.

@@cameronfore8514 folder in Temp is not being created. Error in script results says Client received SOAP Fault from server: Permission to perform this operation was denied. So, could be that Horizon Adapter account is missing some role in vCenter running VDI VM? It was setup years ago following instructions from engineer provided by VMware. Maybe he skipped some permissions in role used by this account in vCenter. Which permission might be required? Maybe Virtual machine.

@@wroot_lt To use scripted actions in the VMware Aria Operations Management Pack for Horizon, the vCenter Adapter account needs specific permissions. Here are the key permissions required: Virtual Machine > Guest Operations: Guest Operation alias modification Guest Operation alias query Guest Operation modifications Guest Operation program execution Guest Operation queries Virtual Machine > Service Configuration (for credential-less service discovery): Manage service configurations Modify service configuration Query service configurations Read service configuration Additionally, you will need to make sure that the "operational actions" are enabled on the vCenter Adapter

Hi Cameron . Very nice and informative video .Thank you for sharing it . Had a query about Telegraph agent . For local datacenters , do we still need to deploy cloud proxy ? I don't see a clear information on it in documentation as well .

What brand headers and x? What size headers?

Where did you connect to the stock NPP? Did you have to do any custom cutting?
@cameronfore85142 жыл бұрын
It connects to the muffler pipe just before the rear axle. Basically the mid-x-pipe matches up to the stock slip on rear muffler pipes. The only mod was using the Magnaflow hi-flow cats in the mid-pipe.

@@cameronfore8514 Great end result in terms of sound. Were you pleased overall with the quality of the Speed Engineering longtubes? Those are the same ones I'm currently considering and also would be adding cats into their midpipe.
@cameronfore85142 жыл бұрын
@@ScottO84 i think they are great quality especially considering the cost. I've had them on a few years now with no issues. I did have a slight fitment issue with the mid-pipe to header connection, but because I installed the cats in the mip-pipe i was able to correct the issue.

Is this the stock exhaust behind the catalytic converters? Or a different catback?
@cameronfore85142 жыл бұрын
In this video it's the stock mufflers with the valves opened and long-tube headers + mid-pipe + hi-flow cats.

Superb C4. I can't wait to start using this as it is exactly what we needed for non persistent The old stuff just too complicated. I just wish they simplify Telegraph too.

I am really interested how do you request applications in Workspace One via vRO
@cameronfore85147 жыл бұрын
Basically you add "applications" to the WS ONE application catalog, that are direct links to vRA catalog items. The vRA catalog items then kick off vRO workflows to entitle users to those requested applications. vRA/vRO control the workflow of the request. WS ONE can control who has access to the app request in the app catalog, and provide the Single-Sign-On authentication into vRA for the user to make the request. Hope this helps.

You already had the applications in Workspace One and the only thing you do is to manage permissions for the users, am I on the right path? Also one more thing... Is there a REST API of some sort for Workspace One?
@cameronfore85147 жыл бұрын
Александър Бушев Yes, in this demo the applications were already created and ready to go, the WS ONE portal is being leveraged for the users to request entitlement to the pre-existing applications. vRA+vRO handles the workflows to automate the user entitlements on the backend. Here is the REST API documentation: code.vmware.com/apis/57/idm Here the latest vRO plugin as well: pubs.vmware.com/Release_Notes/en/hvro-plugin/horizon-vro-plugin-14-release-notes.html
