I understand the various tools of 3DC by learning other software, such as zbrush and blender. I am used to finding similar techniques in 3DC to achieve the same effect.

if you need topologies, it can be a long process.

@@art_elgol since its a robot use autopo and copy to retopo room then auto uv or make uv seams then pack then bake to paint room. since all modern 3d paint programs can paint across uvs neat uv layouts just dont matter that much anymore. they will all compensate as you paint. plus robots dont deform so tris are cool. and even if its tris it can deform in skin as long as tris are evenly distributed no one will really notice.. people geek out on way too much when good enough solves it most of the time.
