I fixed this issue but going to the PS5 Home Screen and selecting “Game base”. Then I scrolled over to “friends” and I selected my friends name. Once you do that, scroll over to the 3 dots and it will give an option to make them a close friend. Send a request to your friend and then let me accept and then see if it shows them on madden. Worked for me!
