The show is actually really amazing so far. I definitely hope you watch it. Yes I do agree that the minimal changes to make it more "grounded" as they keep saying were ultimately kinda unnecessary but it honestly very well adapts Penguin. I am definitely exhausted however of constantly taking inspiration for live-action Batman from the same stories over and over. It's always: Killing Joke, Dark Knight Returns, Year One, Long Halloween and Hush, all of which are really beginner stories for most readers.

But those Champions have nothing when compared, like zero, and I don't hate them individually yet they certainly do not make for a "replacement" team. Bothers me that Marvel still insists with the Champions (from time to time) and even gave a tv series to The Ranaways 😩, I feel like the Young Avengers would get peopel easily invested since, as you said, the look like derivative characters yet are not what they seem.❤ Marvel Studios is certainly not interested in them as a team: We went from Hulking, Ironlad, Patrior and Wiccan to...Mss Marvel, Ironheart, America Chavez (+Cassie and Kate), we can all see the pattern there 😞, but if they were to respect the line-up: it wouldn't get hate from the masses, I bet. At least not compared to characters like Ms Marvel who has been so poorly adapted and seems to have no direction, or actual derivative characters: is Marvel Studios trying to prove a point on which characters don't make for a good investment?🥲, it would be so much easy to adapt their actual stories! And it is annoying, even if you say we can still always read the comics again, since we all KNOW that MCU popularity will determine whether these characters ever get published again due to "MCU synergy" 🫤 or not. Not sure if Kate is actually too popular but she indeed got an early boost from Marvel by giving her something to do without the team: she bearly even mentioned her team again 😭, but Patriot is MIA, Marvel Boy is nowhere, Ironlad seems to have been deleted from history... and Speed is sadly not even seem to be remembered by his tein or mom...now they are giving the mom an apprentice, I remember Speed had some unanswered issues when it comes to his potential: teen heroes are not legacy characters if the editorial thinks they can grow but adults cannot! 😤 Recently they published that Scarlett Witch new pupil and other derivative teen heroes will be making their team debut seen, I jsut can't keep up: peoples interest can't keep up because Marvel will forget by the time we become attached! Sorry for such a rant, sure: they are cool. Kamala Kahn wouldn't get it though.😔

The anime quirks of the series definitely lent to the immense adoration for this Kara.

I definitely enjoyed what My Adventures with Superman did with Kara. I did find it to be a strange change when the series made Clark and Kara about the same age because one of Kara's main differences from her cousin is that she had a life on Krypton and thus was more connected to her kryptonian roots than Clark was and therefore more affected by the loss of Krypton. However, I grew to like this change because of how it impacts Kara and Clark's family dynamic, as being the same age was an improvement that strengthen their bond as equals. Also, being raised by Brainiac and his version of what Krypton should be provided Kara the connection with Krypton that I believe is essential to her character. I like Kara's relationship with Jimmy, but I believe that her best and most influential relationship is with her cousin Clark. I agree that the series did justice for Kara while doing something a bit different with her character.

I was surprised that they decided to have her be around the same age as Clark, rather than having her still being a teenager and seeing Clark as an adult because Kara was in suspended animation.

Speaking of Batman, did you get a chance to see Batman Caped Crusader? Sadly, while there were some interesting things about it and I appreciate it the 1940's aesthetic, I found it to be disappointingly average.

I liked it for being for standard DC fair, it felt very classic DC felt very comic booky, but I'm okay with it ending. So they're free to do something else after.

Honestly, in my opinion this game has the best adaptation of Venom ever outside the comics. The way Eddie Brock's conflict with his inner guilt was portrayed in the Venom DLC was so compelling.

It's funny, DC, Bendis and tom taylor, Wouldn't have to change jonathan kent so much if they just used Connor kent Like at all, Literally He had pretty much Connor had 0 status quo While Jonathan kent had a pretty good one everything from the legion adventures, To the new superman, bisexual ( Tim Drake hello) injustice tie in ( A story he's barely in) the LEGACY LOAD and unique powers Could have been put on him instead. Instead connor kent is in character limbo, meanwhile Jon is popular now but Dc kind of burned through or skipped all the stories they could tell with him and his status quo doesn't only match his story and character. Prime Ironically is the only super boy with a happy ending.

At least this universe wasn't so obsessed with Batman and Damian's brat, and they gave us the Justice Society and The Legion of Super-Heroes.

I thought it was actually alright. Definitely not great but also a bit forgettable. There were some weird choices but one thing I really appreciated was their treatment of Amazo, which was clearly inspired by the version of Amazo from the DCAU, as evident by the colour scheme and actual interesting personality. Also John Constantine as what seems to be Pariah I think fits pretty well with the ending of the DCAMU and what happened in Constantine House of Mystery. Overall, there's a lot of room for improvement but it's not the worst thing I've seen. I definitely agree that overall the Tomorrowverse hasn't really earned the Crisis on Infinite Earths story as I'm not entirely invested in the universe so far.

DC should never again make animated cinematic shared universes that are only sold in Direct-to-video material, it's not easy to create animation, production, soundtracks and scripts, I think they rushed things up for nothing, my only wish is for DC and Warner Bros. to return to solo animated films like they did back in 2007 when Superman Doomsday was released.
