Aww, I love Maggie. Always kind of wanted a St Bernard, but I know they're huge! And apparently they have several common health issues, so that combo, kept me from ever actually trying to get one. But they are beautiful!!

Thank you for a delicious looking budget friendly muffin recipe and full recipe instructions in description box. Stirring muffin batter too long can indeed cause less moist muffins after baked. Andy was too sweet sitting next to you with that sweet face looking up at you. Those books sound interesting. On my local public library website, I signed up to get their weekly newsletter by email. They do reviews and have info on books in their weekly email newsletter.

Wow! What a deal! Hope it works well for you!! Yeah, we had the Northern Lights here in Missouri in June and again last week. I didn't manage to get out at the right time last week, but did get some pics in June. Not real spectacular then, but at least I saw them. So amazing they're being seen all the way down here, a bit, this year!

Here I am, still catching up on your videos! Your Geraniums are beautiful! I've not tried those in years, but until this Summer I've had begonias, white and red. The first ones I bought the Summer of 2019, then some more in 2021, because in '20 I was only going to a store if absolutely essential due to the Pandemic. Anyway, by last Summer, 2023, I still had I think 4 of the original 8. I always took them in every Winter. 3 made it through the Summer, last year, 2 were from 2019. Those 2 lasted about half the Winter this😊😊 year, but had given up the ghost by Spring. But I thought having two make it through 5 Summers and 4 winters was pretty good. Since we were gone for over a week in mid May, I never bought any this past Spring, but did have a bunch of my house plants out on our back deck, or the front porch, once we got home. I hated to bring them in, because most of them really flourished outside this year! But finally did bring them all in on Sunday, because it was going down into the 30s that night! I need to repot a few of them, though, because they grew so much!! I'll have to try those corn chips! That's the Walmart store brand, right? Some years ago, I tried some off brand ones at Family Dollar, and they tasted nothing like the real thing. So I'd never tried any store brand ones, since. But if you say they're good, I'll have to give them a try! Also, thanks for the Goulash recipe! That sounds similar to what my mom called Goulash, too, and it was so good! Any Goulash recipes I've found in cookbooks were made with some other type of meat, and had totally different things in it. So happy to see a recipe that sounds similar to my moms! I'll write down your recipe, and try it as soon as I can get to the store and get some peppers. I think I have everything else! 😊

I've seen the same warnings you did about rinsing off chicken or other meat, I still spritz mine with vinegar water, same as I wipe the counter with. I worked with a lady that gave it a dawn soap bath, now THAT is going too far! lol

We have a lot in common. My whole life, if I had my way, would be books, food, and holidays. I love anything pumpkin. I've had 3 pumpkin spice lattes this October. I probably won't have anymore until next year. Have you read anything by Jessica Fletcher? I've only read one book by her, "Dying to Retire". I ate some key lime pies during the duration of reading that book! I crave whatever the book characters are eating. Same way with the Joanne Fluke books. I crave & eat whatever Hannah is making. And I am so behind on that series. I used to stay caught up. But now that I don't go to the library anymore.

LeAnne Morgan is very funny! A perfect title for her book, too: "What in the world?!" I'm sure your library can get it for you. I was searching on line for a particular book. It was at the library in the next town over from mine -- but still in the County. So I would have had to go there to pick it up. But I didn't, and I did not request it. The next thing I knew, it was on the shelf at my own library! Who say's AI isn't watching us?! But glad in this case that "they" are. Pet assisted reading program? Sounds wonderful to me! I'm sure that Andy Beagle would be a great reading assistant. He could do the sound effects! Thanks, Carol, Casey and pups, for another entertaining video.

Hi Carol. Thank you so much for saying you'll do some pumpkin recipes! I love your cooking episodes ....apart from the spicy stuff 😂🥵 You are so relatable in your kitchen, others can look unattainable to me. The balloons sound amazing. I hate heights but love flying so not sure if i'd be ok or not. We once went on a mountain cable car thing and i was so scared, i had to sit the whole time 😂 i do know they would be amazing to watch

Loved hearing about the balloons. Like Casey, I don't do well with heights and probably would not have the nerve to ride in one (even if I could afford the exorbitant cost).

38 degrees here this morning. We saw a hot air balloon land in the field behind our house when we lived in the country. Thanks for jogging my memory ❤ Have you tried swerve as a sugar replacement?

There are several balloon festivals in Washington State. The closest one for us is about 45 minutes down the Interstate, and is usually the last weekend of September. We've tried going several times over the years early in the day to beat the crowds, but it was always too windy to put the balloons up. Several people did inflate theirs , like the POW tribute, so people who had shown up had a little something. Another one probably 3 hrs to our north is held at the end of February. There is usually so much snow between here and there and in a mountainous area, that I wouldn't even attempt going!😮

Pumpkin Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins! The muffins I baked tonight are really good! Very moist from the bananas. Come back tomorrow for the recipe and photos. It took about 5 minutes to mix them up and 20 minutes to bake.
