Thanks for the question Yes. The volume flow rate of the prototype will be different. The question just didn't ask for that to be calculated.

flow rate 1l/s supposed to be divided by two and then calculate the velocity since it's delivered to each nozzles

The problem states "the sprinkler delivers 1 L/min to each arm..." Therefore, the full 1 L/min has to be used to get the speed of the water coming out of each nozzle.

The 2 in the numerator cancels with the 6 in the denominator (1/2-1/3) to give the 3 in the denominator.

you sir overcomplicating it you could just solve like this : ro(b)(-g+(w^2)0,2) = ro(a)(-g)

i think the first element in i direction you forgot to multiply it to what is in the parentheses. I got 68,948kNi and 66,699kNj
