Hi guys!!! Sorry I missed this live event. It was fun watching it none the less. It’s content really covered a lot of the things us both would have loved to ask you personally if we ever had a chance and time to sit down with you both when we seem to unexpectedly bump into each other when you are in Toronto. . Looking forward to continuing living vicariously through your videos. Travel safe in Mexico City. We are off to Hong Kong, Macau, and Chang Mai for the entire month of December. Take care

It is funny how we've run into each other a couple of times, in a city as big as Toronto! Can't wait to escape this cold weather that's here now. That sounds like an amazing trip that you have planned. We loved Hong Kong! We haven't visited Chang Mai or Macau, but they are on our long bucket list. Thanks for always watching, and we hope you have a wonderful time on your December vacay :)

We hadn't planned to take a day trip to Oslo, but once we realized how close Karlstad was to Norway, we decided to jump on the train and go and explore! It was definitely a great decision, as we had a fun time...and of course, found some really tasty food lol. You did put quite a smile on Tom's face with your "handsome" comment lol 🥰You're his number one fan on KZbin haha! Thank you Rahul :)

Hi guys, I just watched this Karlstad vlog, and I wanted to take a moment to thank you both for sharing such a wonderful experience with us! 🌟 The way you captured the beauty of the places, the hotel, and the little details really made it feel like I was there with you guys. *I can only imagine the amount of effort it took to plan, shoot, and edit everything so perfectly. Your hard work and creativity truly shine✨ through in every frame! It’s so inspiring to see the love and passion you both put into your content - it’s a joy to watch.* Keep doing what you do, and thank you again for bringing such positive vibes and incredible adventures to KZbin. You guys are amazing, and I can’t wait to see where your next journey takes us. Sending lots of love and hugs your way 💖🙏

Your comments always brighten our day! We had a fun time in Karlstad visiting with Mike's family, and we were so lucky that the weather was perfect for the week that we were there. Mike hadn't seen his sister and father for a few years, so that was a special time for him. We're really excited to be flying to Mexico City in a couple of days, and being able to explore such a huge mega-city. The weather here in Toronto has turned quite cool now, so it will be nice to escape before the snow starts lol. We've had a wonderful time while we've been in Toronto, being able to spend time with family and friends. Thank you so much for your kind words and being a loyal supporter, we really do appreciate you :)

Well, it seems the hard drive is truly fried, unfortunately! We were able to download our videos back off of KZbin and upgrade the quality, so all is not lost. We're really excited to be heading to Mexico City in a couple of days, although it has been nice to visit with family and friends while we've been in Toronto. Thanks so much for your kind support :)

We're looking forward to heading out in a couple of days as the weather has turned quite chilly here in Toronto! It's been great to spend some time here with family and friends though. This will be our first time in Mexico City and we're really excited to explore such a mega-city. Thanks for watching, we really appreciate it :)

▬▬▬ ஜ۩۞۩ஜ ▬▬▬ Greetings, from Castle Saint James ▬▬▬ ஜ۩۞۩ஜ ▬▬▬ My sincerest thoughts of appreciation & gratitude are kindly offered for the delightful entertainment. Let's plunge right in, shall we? First of all, I am so sorry I missed your live presentation today. I was distracted by a visitor, showing up with none other than flowers, hearts & flirty smiles! Well, that speaks for itself, so let's move on. As I was saying, I had planned to watch your live presentation, however, this "leftover" will do, I'm sure. About Mexico, I went with a friend to Cancun once. We had a wonderful time until we didn't. Just be sure you don't catch anyone's eye, who's obviously, intoxicated and hyped up on steroids, no matter how much they stand out in a crowd or even how refined & elegant the restaurant is. I made that mistake and this big American tourist stormed over to our table and implied some horrible accusations, while making threats! I had to really "come out of the bag" as it were, and give him what for, I tell you what! I suppose the tequila had an adverse effect on him. Needless, to say, that put quite a damper on the evening. Have fun and be careful down there! Carry on. Cheerio! ~James🛡

Hi James! I'm sure it was quite nice to be surprised with "flowers, hearts and flirty smiles" and was much better than watching our livestream lol. But of course, we do appreciate you watching it afterwards! We're really excited to be heading off to Mexico City in a couple of days, and can't wait to explore such a huge mega-city. Mike has been practicing his Spanish, so that we'll at least be able to order a couple of beers, and some tacos lol. That sounds like you had quite the tricky situation in Cancun, but dealt with the loud-mouth drunk very well. We'll be on the lookout for any of these troubles! Thank you so much for watching and your thoughtful comment, we really do appreciate it :)

Amazing video. I love your stile, the way you show the place, the variety of restaurants stiles, the dishes' presentation, de description of each meal, and the prices. If I may make a time consuming suggestion, it would be awesome if you show a pic of a map with the location of the places. Again, amazing video, thanks for sharing all the info.

Thanks for watching, and for the great feedback! We always include a list of the restaurants that we have been to, down in the description section of the video. Usually people will need to use Google Maps to find the directions to get there, so we haven't included a map in the video. Thank you so much for your very kind words, we really appreciate it :)

▬▬▬ ஜ۩۞۩ஜ ▬▬▬ Greetings, from Castle Saint James ▬▬▬ ஜ۩۞۩ஜ ▬▬▬ My sincerest thoughts of appreciation & gratitude are kindly offered for the delightful entertainment. I would, however, like to make a suggestion/request, if I may. I discovered your channel while searching for videos that might present a certain degree of ambiance associated with going out for pizza. Years later, I'm still looking for that perfect go to video of choice, whenever I'm having pizza or other special foods. I wonder, do you suppose you might create a longer lasting video that would indulge exclusively, in the pleasure of your company, at the table, having a delightful meal, while also engaged, in conversation? In other words, an immersive experience, that provides the viewer with the feeling they are on the other side of the table, across from the two of you. Also, it would be more of a personable experience, rather than the typical, travel narration. I'm certain, this new concept would appeal to many, who are looking for a safe & comfortable alternative to actually, going out. Mull it over, if you will, and get back to me, if you'd like. Thanks ever so much. -- James Starr

The peking restraunt is way over priced it just regular duck not even canadian premium duck Braun lake free range, their is plenty of of peking duck in vanciuver and it's negligible its better than any other duck in vancouver

In this video you guys are coming across as typical self entitled and naive gringos complaining about life in Latin America. All of these issues (while they do exist) you mentioned are no big deal, if you have the right strategies to deal with them. Why didn't you mention Cartagena's incredible history on display, amazing colonial architecture, museums and churches, rich culture, art, music, and festivals, great food, friendly people and vibrant night life, and cheap cost of living for foreigners to name but a few of the many positives.

Good video. Youre spot on with all of your points. Cartagena is a beach town that caters to tourists, so ALWAYS expect a "gringo price." You'll be a foreigner so youre expected to have the wealth for whatever they charge. If you befriend some of locals, theyll share the websites that they use for searching for apartments (similar to airbnb) and youll see local prices. If you have a knack for bargaining, and dont walk around with a Polaroid around your neck (i know im dating myself lol) youll have no problem negotiating.

"Instagramable City?" Aye gringos. Instagram is NOT REAL but this city and its people are. Stop talking and presenting like Al Gore. I vote Democrat by the way. Street vendors? Did you see the lady I call La Rubia? She has blond hair, not a dye job either. She is a sweetheart who argued with my Colombian wife, and I brokered the peace. We bought items from her. One of the few battles I have ever won. What a great time watching them reconcile. How did you say "no" to the street vendors? Ask yourselves this question VERY honestly. If you did not look them in the eye and say 'gracias, pero no intereso' you were still a customer. One guy was trying to sell me a hat in Cartagena (Cartagena de Indias btw. This is the city's proper name) and he said 'es necesario!' I bought water from another guy, held up the bottle to the guy with the hats and said 'no senor, ESTO es necesario!' Once you make that eye contact and make it VERY CLEAR they will go away. The work ethic is incredibly strong. Why denigrate it? Let me put it this way. I cannot recall el nombre de La Rubia, pero cuando visito otra vez, I am going to be looking for her and give her a post pandemic hug! LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE! Learn, Overcome, and adapt. And.... PARTY ON DUDES!

If you stay in a touristy area and are aware of your surroundings at all times, then it should be safe. To be honest, we wouldn't go back to Cartagena, but many people love it and return often.
