I saw Thin Lizzy twice. The 1st time Nazareth opened for them at the Orpheum theater downtown Memphis, TN. I can't remember if Gary Moore was on that tour? It was 1978, don't recall the month, but it poured down rain from Corinth, MS all the way to Mempho. I've googled everything I could find but can't figure it out, I know Gary was in there part of 78. Just can't determine when. All I can say it was fantastic.

Actually the original version of this song was wrote by Gary, but the only track (and original) is on the Peel Sessions album! There's a Phil Lynnot tribute done by Gary, you should watch it and enjoy it!

FACT CHECK: GARY MOORE wrote the original song and brought it to Thin Lizzy. It is GARY MOORE'S guitar work on Night Life. Gary left the band before Night Life was completed, and they dubbed in GARY MOORE'S guitar playing because Robertson could not play it like Gary Moore which is what Phil demanded. The original "Still in Love With You", (with Gary's lyrics and music), is on the Peel Sessions album. On that version, Gary shares lead vocals with Phil. It is so soulful and beautiful--the best.

The ORIGINAL solo was GARY MOORE'S. It is a shame that he never received credit it for it on the Thin Lizzy albums. In an interview, even Robertson admitted that.

You and melvyntee are both sadly mistaken. GARY MOORE wrote the original song and brought it to Thin Lizzy. It is GARY MOORE'S guitar work on Night Life; although Gary left the band before Night Life was completed, they dubbed in GARY MOORE'S guitar playing for this song because it could not be improved. The original "Still in Love With You", (with Gary's lyrics and music), can be heard on the Peel Sessions album. On that version, Gary Moore shares lead vocals with Phil Lynott; it is so soulful!

@debbiedoodiedandi ANYTHING by Gary Moore is fantastic.. The "Live & Dangerous" album was probably one of the BEST they ever did. Gary Moore left the band a few times because he couldnt get Phil to stop using Heroin.. which is what killed him in the mid 80's. Thin lizzy's "Romeo & the Lonely Girl" is cool, "Dont believe a Word".. Gary does some great music on his own.. "Empty Rooms".. "Stll got the Blues".. "Midnight Blues"
