ok. where the exhaust leaves the engine, always best to leave this alone as the heating and cooling and front tyre throwing up crude creates a high chance of bolts and threads breaking. so play with the joins further back. on this particular bike a free flowing/straight through/ no baffles exhaust resulted in lots of horny noise, but less top speed. i would recommed all new bikes to try anything they want. its all good experience. if you want to do something, do it, and learn.

hello mate, as im sure you'll agree the standard exhaust looks and gash! i wanna get a yoshimura for my van van but i know fuck all about this sort of thing. im not looking to replace the entire system i just want to replace the silencer, does this affect the engine in any way? im not intersted in better performance etc, i just dont want to hurt my precious vanvan :P cheers
