Thanks for the vid! As a healer, how are you targeting each member so fast for curing?

I have three types of macros, for a single target cures I made a macro for each member (from p0 being me and p5 being the last person on the list): /ma "Cure IV" <p1> For -ga spells I use <stpt> and then arrows up and down to target people: /ma "Curaga III" <stpt> And for Cure VI which is used in the last resort I use <stal> (though, <stpt> probably would work better, but I'm using <stal> due to often being a solo healer for alliances in Dynamis). I also always try to invite people in the same order to make it easier to remember which cure is for whom, but it rarely works like intended.

A few notes about the lack of new videos recently. First, I'm not playing as much as in the past, and if I show up, I mostly do boring stuff outside the static window. For example, the last two weeks have been spent on opening chests in Sheol B to get hides for augments. And second, probably the most important thing, static is down only to two people right now, so after coming back from vacation I will need to rebuild it almost from the ground. After all things are solved, I believe that the number of videos will improve.

Tana's RNG gear is really great. Unfortunately, he did not reveal his secret to me. However, as far as I know, he is not using Nyame gear for his sets.

FF11 is an old game with a lot of content, which can be overwhelming for new players, but also gives many opportunities that more recent MMOs do not have. There is a lot of content to keep you interested in a different stage of the game. Obviously, most people rush to level 99 and the endgame, but you can also take a break at levels 50 or 75 and make some of the older content (which is often relevant in one way or another) more challenging to solo. Even if you hit level 99, you can slowly enjoy your progress doing a lot of stuff, without hitting the griding like Sortie or Odyssea.

Recently I have not had time to try things solo as Monk, but Ngai V0 is for sure soloable. Though, you need a decent Hybrid set, and maybe also a tank trust (maybe Amchuchu). It should be easier now with Empyrean +3.

Long live Vana'd'iel! Oh how I miss playing this game. Xbox support ended May 2016 and I've never been a computer person. Plus my life has been in a proverbial rut for years. Recovering drug/alcohol abuser so bridges and job was burnt along the way. Now I'm abandoned and ostracized. How I long for the (familiar)ity of FFXI.

@@McGalakar How many people are still subscribed to FFXI? I honestly hope they never abandon Vana'd'iel. That is a special place for a lot of people. From 2007-2016 I played every day for hours on end. Bet if I logged in today I'd be like a duck to water, lol. I miss that game to no end.

Issue with the FFXI community these days are IMMENSE. Outside of the rampart cheating, automation and botting, is also endgame fault for moving the focus on 6 man content

Multiboxing, Windower, and RMT are a completely different pair of shoes. They are both answers to the issues within a game and a reason for those problems. In my opinion, it was too complex an issue to discuss in this video. Plan to make one in the future about it. But I do agree, that going from alliance-based content to party-based content is a reason for at least half of the game's problems.

For some reason, the voice quality really dropped after finishing the video edit. The voice in the original file was a way better quality and easier to understand. Need in the future to check what voice option I should pick to retain the original quality.

Been maining Bst, and have sky, and sea access so far. We're just getting started on some of the HNM action. Lots of competition.

Can you summon trust before he aggros you, or does he engage as soon as the instance loads?

You can summon trusts before the first phase. He doesn't aggro as long as you stay at the spawn point. The second phase starts with him actively engaging, so there is no chance of calling a trusts (but all of the trusts from the first phase that survived, are still with you).

Why is your COR shooting from melee range? Keep him at distance, only the RUN should be in range

You'd also get alot more damage if the SCH and GEO are contributing on bursts, landing theirs after yours. A GEO shouldn't be standing around casting only bubbles on this one, they're a huge source of damage

We are working on timing the SCH and GEO nukes. In some fights, it works in others not, but still a work in the progress on that part.
