When I think of Brian Houston I can remember seeing what he was really all about backin the 1980s when I used to be part of CLC Sydney now called hillsong. In retrospect now I see he wanted nothing to do with the Lord Jesus Christ and he is clearly still the same to this day. He may name the name of Christ but its all just words, for the money. By their fruits ye shall know them. "They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, & the world hears them." 1John4:5 sums it up perfectly. So why does it APPEAR then that God is "blessing" them? I think the answer is in 2Thess2:11"And for this cause GOD shall send strong delusion, that they should BELIEVE A LIE."

I agree - it looks and sounds like a show - and it is. I would rather spend 2 days reading my bible, than just 1 minute attending Hillsong. It is sad to see that so many people attend the "church" as they do not know the bible and what is mentioned in revelations about the last days before Jesus returns.

I came across this video to know what's on this conference before joining. Tbh, it's helpful to know your insights as I'm now torn/being smarter to decern my mind and heart's want. I may still join or not but certainly, if I do I'm 100% up to it. :) Considering your views about Pastor Bryan's - especially myself supporting and attending this event, who I am to tell what truly his heart's intention - only him and God would know. At the end of the day, my primary concern would be how much this event will draw me closer to God. This comes to mind after reading your comment: 3Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but fail to notice the beam in your own eye? Matthew 7:3 Respectfully, Lady in her Journey towards Jesus :)
