Oh wow! Seeing this video brings back so many memories. I was up there in the summer of 99 and winter of 99 as a teenager. I hope I aint mistaken with this but I remember swimming in a creek or something like that called ross run? I may be way off. I remember going to subway in haulers. I believe the grocery store by the bridge was a food lion? I could be wrong. Im from South Alabama and up there I was able to have Snyders bbq chips for the first time and I was hooked on them! Great video!

I've been there many times in my life. My family owns a camp on Whig Hill. You should have shown the Trout Hatchery and the river. Not exactly in downtown Tionesta but the Hickory Nut had the best steak salad I ever ate and Cougar Bob's has the coldest beer. It's been a few years since I've been there but I hope that both of those great landmarks are still there. 🙂👍
@leehopkinsenterprises22 күн бұрын
Thank for watching. Both are still here. I have some other videos driving down by the river and around the dam and overflow areas. Hoping to get some more when weather improves
@johngersna326322 күн бұрын
@leehopkinsenterprises I still have a few things that I bought from George's store. I ended up buying property in Benezette where my Wife and I live now. But the camp on Whig Hill is still in the family. My uncles took me with them to Cougar Bob's when I was a kid. I'm 74 years old now and they are gone and I have one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel but those are days that I'll never forget. Our camp was built from the old train station from Oakdale Pa. It still has the pot belly stove from the train station.

@johngersna3263 that's cool I'm the opposite live here and have a family camp not far from benezette. Beautiful country down the there
@johngersna326322 күн бұрын
@@leehopkinsenterprises Yes, it is. We bought this property in 2004 that had an old trailer on it to use as a hunting camp. We built a new cabin on it and fell in love with the area and the people. So when we retired we decided that we didn't want to leave. So we sold our home in Washington Co. and moved here permanently. Best thing we could have done. I will always love the Tionesta area and my cousin takes care of the camp there now. I hope sometime that if you're ever in this area that I would run into you. I have a few stories about Camp Oakdale.

If the battery was my only problem I would of simply charged it outside, the fact is that I found out the battery was dead when I went to get it to fix another problem and wanted to work on that issue in the garage so then it could be in the garage charging while I worked on the rest of the jeep
