Thanks for video. I found that keeping my Dingy on a trailer has worked out well for me. Of course every situation is different and a trailer may not be possible, ie, an apartment doesn’t allow Trailers. keeping my boat trailered has made my boating much more enjoyable , after a long day on the water, disassembling was not something I would look forward to doing. I have an aluminum Triton, had it for three years And It looks new, what a great trailer. The only thing I didn’t like were the plastic fenders, I am installing aluminum fenders.

I love this video a number of reasons: 1) wow, an inflatable boat with 15 horsepower and the wakeboarder looks like he's having a great time. 2) when I grew up wakeboarding was something little kids who couldn't water ski did. You just stood on the board with both feet facing forward and nowhere near as fun as water skiing. But today's wakeboards are like snowboarding with your feet pointed to the side, again it looks like so much more fun. I imagine if I had a choice I might even choose it over Slalom water skiing. 3) Last but not least, the wider wakeboard has huge advantages for use with a lower horsepower setup. A narrow Slalom ski can be very difficult to pull out of the water without a powerful engine, and you will really slow down the boat with deep carves on that narrow ski if you ever manage to get started. I love how this video shows how relatively easy a wake board can pop out of the water with a sideways start. And the wider board in general means less drag when turning and to pull the rider along. Very nice video, beautifully shot, and quite enlightening, thanks! I know this is an old video but to the person wondering where the rope is attached, I have heard it is smartest to avoid stressing the transom and Instead try and thread the rope through both sides of the grab rails. If you had an rib or an sib with an aluminum floor, I suppose you could try and mount a skipole to the floor but I think it would just get in the way on a smaller boat and not be worth the trouble. It's also better to transfer the stress to the tubes, at least according to one major inflatable boat manufacturer.

Your good video content is drowned out by the music

It's a basic boat - basic build and basic features. Good, sensible features, nonetheless, as expected to be seen on a modern boat - and as can actually be seen on similar boats by other manufacturers. What I like most is the size - it seemingly makes the boat easy to handle by one single person. Speaking of that, it would be great if you added oar locks - rowing has a series of advantages over paddling (regardless of style - kayak or canoe). Longer models, especially when heavily loaded (as seen in some of the videos), tend to bend, which is likely to lead to different types of problems after some such excessive usage of the boat. I would also like to see full tube protection - instead of just a narrow strip of extra material covering only a short length of the tubes. Without it, the boat is fit to use more on lakes rather than on rivers as well. There must be a reason why the lifeline is installed on top of the tubes (as opposed to lower on them on the outside); what is that reason, exactly? Optionally, the Dodger could cover more of the tubes - to make sure water does not get into the boat when waves hit the boat, or the other way round, and water is, consequently, pushed up on the tubes and underneath the cover. Just a few notes from someone who has used a boat extensively and started to fancy this type of boat.
