This song's instrument and vocal arrangement proved that The Monkees were a "real" band. The guitar riff (Nesmith), the piano solo (Tork), the vocals and the psychedelic fade out all became emblematic of the era. Yes they used an occasional session player, but so did The Byrds, The Momas and The Papas and The Beach Boys, nobody even noticed! Thanks tmachine for uploading this song. Please do more Pisces Aquarius Capricorn & Jones Ltd. tracks, don't know why that album has not been given the extended box set treatment, it is a masterpiece and certainly deserves it.

I am glad that guitar chords were put on the screen I play my guitar along with this song and makes it easier for me with the 2 modulations in the song. Starts in A major then goes to B flat major and to B major and ends in B major even though the sheet music I got for this song is in G major that will work but work with the movie version with the modulations.

A few weeks ago I discovered a few sites that do this, so there's no reason for me to make this kind of vid anymore. The sites are 'CHORDIFY' and CHORDU' in case you get a guitar! )) Had the Monkees CD playing in the car for the last month! yeah!
