I saw them on this tour at Satyricon in Portland. They were a very loud accompaniment to a late-evening standing nap ended up taking (I was working as a baker at the time and waking up super early). It was a cool enough experience that I remember it. Who ever said you have to be awake to rock?

No, this was their first demo tape before they had a record deal with SST.

Yeah 👍 Definitely were one of those bands who got screwed by their own record label for not being consistent enough to compete with the likes of a Sacred Reich or Flotsam and Jetsam as far as selling albums were concerned. Hallow’s Eve and Atrophy fell apart in a few years after putting out some of the greatest songs ever made in this newer genre of Thrash Metal/ Crossover music that was definitely starting to dominate our young minds as early as the release of stuff from DRI + Suicidal Tendencies etc. shame they never achieved that level of popularity like the rest of these bands had in the later eighties. Some of the nicest guys I’ve ever had the pleasure of touring with in 1994 October at Chapter Two in Salisbury Beach ( which sadly went Chapter Eleven!), but yes, we opened up for them on their The Outer Limits album show here. I saw them in Prague in a cellar gig in 2000... High energy, crowd was packed in like sardines. All vinyl clad and safety pinned fashion punks . Band was great.

Saw many shows at the Mabuhay, On Broadway, and The Stone in that long, gone era. So many great lineups on that flyer. (Sex bomb, baby!) I’m glad to know someone has preserved a bit of it. The sound is quite good for a cassette. Thank you.

100% agree, Angelrat and Outer Limits got a pass from me just because it was Voivod, Hatross, Nothingface and Killing Technology were incredible albums, so the bar was stupidly high. Then came the Voivod album then Katorz and I found them painful to listen to, especially the lyrics, felt like they were written on a napkin on the tour bus. The Wake is really good though, they seem to be returning to the 87-91 era with the sound and song structures which can't be a bad thing.
