I was reading the description and noticed "Brainrot" in the description and I thought "huh.. Thats a very early time to use that word?? Maybe one of the first instances of it?" because it looked like this video came in 2022 No it just fucking hit me that 2023 was 2 years ago and I was just getting so used to the 1 year gap from 2024

mob means everything to me because he’s the first character i ever saw that was Just Like Me Fr, and when i saw people interpreting him as autistic when the show first was airing it made me think “ohh wait a minute…. am i perhaps.. also autistic….” sure enough one trip to a psychiatrist later (for fully unrelated reasons mind you) i got a shiny new autism diagnosis. anyway shoutout to mob for giving me the motivation to pinpoint and better manage my symptoms and also accept the fact that i dont have to mask and be normal 24/7 in order for people to like me. one of the characters of all time. my boy

Mob is the most relatable character to me I love him so so much it hits me hard when he says he just can’t laugh, the crying, built up rage I have two sides though with it my family gets annoyed when I don’t sound excited when I am then I snap into another side with my adhd and get excited I get so confused with my saying “why do I keep doing that? I don’t understand” It’s like two sides of my brain with adhd and autism trying to win over emotions mob is great with autism media makes us seem dumb or autistic people all make random noises which is not true

That entire bit of Mob exorcising the ghost whilst being mainly preoccupied about what he was gonna do for the haunted house hit way too close to home. I’ve only seen the first episode of Mob Psycho, but this video’s made me consider sitting down and watching it over the weekend.

Mob doesn’t have autism, he just isn’t socially confident, at the end the series all that goes away and he is a perfectly social person, stop claiming characters as autistic or having adhd when they don’t.

Art is all about interpretation, and how our own experiences can shape a new meaning to it. While im a aware that Mob is not intended to be autistic, there's also no problem in interpreting him and the story as a autism allegory. Also people with autism can evolve their social abilities and emotional control, i had a autistic friend who was a very shy and i dint knew how to express his emotions, but after gaining more confidence and life experience they actually became a extroverted person who waw really good at managing his emotions

Autistic people can be social and confident. Besides we never see him being the most popular kid in school or anything, just unmasking (showing his emotions more) and being more confident interacting with others. None of that is contradictory to autism in fact it makes even more sense reading it as such. Keep in mind it’s implied he has been rejected socially in the past for his powers, he liked Tsubomi because she didn’t treat him differently (implying most people did). This is when he started suppressing his powers and therefore his emotions, the accident was just the final nail in that coffin.

IM LITERALLY MOBBBB IM GONNA CRY HES SO ME…. I really feel like I’m mob, the masking, the thoughts, his relationships!! How he bottles up his emotions until they come out in a breakdown, that happened to me basically every day in the past. Now it happens only once in 2 months or so cuz I started to finally accept myself,like mob :) The way other people view him, SO. ME. 😣😣

I think I might be autistic. I didn't exhibit any symptoms typically associated with autism in children, so I never got the diagnosis, but I can relate to so many experiences autistic people describe. I'm 23 years old, afab, still living at home, dropped out of every training or apprenticeship I started so far, can't hold down a job, the only relationships I've had so far were online, I have difficulties making friends and going outside. All this time I've been struggling so hard at things that seem to come natural to everyone else. Mob Psycho is currently my ultimate comfort show. The clips here make me feel less alone.
