It will not affect the airbag opening. But a hard impact can damage the screen and injure the person on the passenger side

I purchased and installed the Hansshow physical button console a couple days ago. I plugged in the USB charger and charged the unit (rechargeable battery) over 8 hours. The red light on the console still stayed red? When I unplugged the USB, the unit does not work and has no power? There is no on/off switch. Is my unit defective because the only way the unit has power is having the USB cord attached which should not be the case. The unit has the built in rechargeable battery.

Press and hold for 2 seconds on the temperature screen to toggle to Fahrenheit.

@@tesmag-store Press and hold the round knob on the physical console while its in Celsius mode for 2 seconds? If you press it quickly, it toggles into fan speed and ambient lighting options.
