Hi. I have a Lora thermostat valve installed and I want to lock the temperature because I have three little children that like playing with it... On your website you say that there's a feature that "Prevents covers being tampered with through hidden fixings". Can you please provide more detail? Thank you

Thanks, The documentation in your website is also very clear and easy to go through. Wish you all the best!

I tried to installed the viki yesterday, but had some challenges. During the motor calibration, the motor did not touch shaft of the radiator. I actually increased the temperature of the radiator before removing the old thermostat. Unfortunately the package didn´t come with tool to extend the length of the motor shaft. I used the right adaptor fitting. How do I resolve this?

Dear Shadrack, I suppose you have not used the right adapter if what you are describing has happened.

I don't see the Vicki temperature display. When I put the battery in it shows 'Hi' then 'calibration' then display disappears. How do I get the Vicki temperature display working?

And what is error code 77 ?
@martinpeevski9461 Жыл бұрын
Probably Vicki was unable to calibrate properly when attached to valve.
@mclimate Жыл бұрын
Dear Muhammad, For you to see the degrees when you rotate Vicki, you have to mount it to a radiator valve and calibration must be successful. If it's not properly mounted on a radiator valve, it'll not show the target temperature, only HI. Please refer to the steps described in the user manual. Regarding code 77 - you've put the device into functional test mode. Check out this video to see how to exit it: kzbin.infojpvSV9T_vkk?feature=share

Thanks for the video. I can't find what mode the Vicky is in after pushing (and holding for a while) the button on the back. It displays 88, or 8 after rotating it and I dont see any way to return the Vicky to normal operation state. Can I somehow recover the Vicky after pushing the button and putting it to this special mode?

Here's how to exit the 88 mode. This is a mode used only in the factory, sorry. kzbin.infojpvSV9T_vkk?feature=share

@@mclimate thanks. Even tho the steps in the video did not switch it back, I was eventually able to get back to normal mode (in combination with pressing both of the buttons on back side - I didnt notice the second button by the batteries at first)

When you connect the sensors to the water pipes, it will only register the correct temperature if water is flowing through the boiler, not when it is stationary. So, in most cases this device is useless. And if you do another video, get rid of the crappy loud music.

It was good and detailed but I wanted to learn more about the real life practices e.g. sending downlink to control the device via webhooks or other solutions.

this is a really helpful video, thank you! we're going to make a short video about using the Vicki to showcase at The Things Conference Devices next week.
I don't want to spend 1:15 of my life to watch a boring video about information which can also be put on a website. A good structured FAQ with small 1Min videos shall do the job much better... .

My water heater is 4kw . Do u have something similar for 4000 watt ??
@mclimate4 жыл бұрын
Hey ATHENS FZR, Bobbie is good for loads up to 32A, so 4000watts wouldn't be an issue at all.
