One of the very best songs from the early Sparks. Performs pretty well live, making good use of the 4 rock instruments and 1 vocal. Like all Sparks songs, very witty and clever.

I can't make out the instrumentation--sounds like one banjo player and one very noisy drummer, with someone occasionally playing a slide whistle. What are the two other musicians doing? If there's a piano, I can't hear it.

OK the disc in the video is a single faced one, I do have the double sided disc withboth "Alma", "Every Little Movement", on it

I have the disc you show in this video, and she and Werrenrath also sang " Alma ", I think both are terrific songs and I have gotten both songs somewhat clearly figured out as to what the words are.

I like how he chops up the clarinet solo, which is one of the hottest I've heard for that period, and gives it back mixed, mashed, backwards in places, and upside down. The greatest of the century and USA's Beethoven, Mozart, and Bach. Louis Armstrong. Hi Global Arts and Humanities - D198 WGU

HOI4 music mods for Great War brought me here. If you're feeling miserable about this music, why not try to visualize the times? Those wacky cars? Electric contraptions? Even a map with leader pictures went a long way.

It don't always have to be top notch turtle dovin' crooners singing about beautiful unattainable or doublecrossing ladies, every now and then a record with a historical background keeps it very interesting....

These guys have a fine vocal blend, better than most I have heard from the period. Well balanced recording too. Thanks a lot! Can sing the bass fine with this, reminding me of my youth!
