Aloha! This is beautiful and I want to paint it. Did you mask the octopus suction cups, or is that the negative painting part? I’m thinking I could remove the overall masking after doing the background, and re-mask the suction cups on the tentacles? Thank you!

Hi Sherrie, thanks for watching! I haven’t masked separately the suction cups, that was negative painting. You could also re-mask them or you can use a white wax pencil and paint over it.

I was wondering if we could remove the metallic holder separately. I'm planning to buy separate half pans, fill them up, and install them in this box. Pls let me know if that's possible

Hi Imelda and thanks for watching! Yes, the metallic holder can be removed with the half pans installed. If you have multiple cases you can switch the metallic holder and have specialized kits for various occasions like plain air, portraits etc as those require a distinct palette of colors. 🎨
