For some reason the only grape juice I can get is Great Value brand which has sulphites.. Will sulphites kill the yeast?

If you leave out the raisins, you can make 1/2 a gallon of wine in less that 5 minutes. And, if you let it sit for 4 weeks, it'll settle out and be real clear.

I do it the same, but I only put in 1/2 tsp of yeast and it works well. And, instead of a balloon, I just loosen the cap a little bit to let out the gas. I learned that from Paw Paw's channel. I'll try the raisins though in my next batch.

If you're going to use a small stencil, consider characters that are easier su as, T, I, V, L, Z, M, instead of B, P, D A R etc bc those have sections that can come up if too much heat is used. I used a 9V battery and had little success, so i switched to a car battery and learned character font is important. BTW, I used water and salt. A lot of salt.

That’s not going to work the way you’re hoping. Once the rat energizes the wire the electricity will run over the wire & not zap the rat. It’s the same as birds on the power lines.

It will take the path of least resistance. The mesh. The mesh will get hot, and do nothing but piss off the rat. Did this with a battery charger and a window grate at a shop that kept getting broke into. Insulated the grate from the surrounding building, and energized it. Thieves stopped trying to get in, they got tired of getting arrested for burned palms and attempted b and e.

@@metalsurgeon9196 it will in fact take the path of least resistance, however that doesn’t mean that no current is going to the other paths. Electrical theory is pretty complicated when you get deep into it.
