Love the video! Very authentic, and makes it even more amazing how good the song is that you recorded it no frills. The new album is really amazing. Cry Like the River is song of the year DEFINITELY. You captured a timeless sound on some tracks, and hit new territory on others.

Sir Eddie this is your hit song but you've recorded/produced it too smooth. I like the Al Green/Curtis Mayfield vibes but it's missing the rough fire that was evident in the bar Instagram clip I saw. Brother that clip brought you to my attention and made me aware that you're the real deal. But you're a rhythm and blues guy with soul who needs grit, grit is missing from this Eddie. Smooth with fire, dynamics is missing. You have the intensity man, I'd recommend releasing a live version of this or rerecord it. Just my Two Cents Nothing but love from the UK 💙
