I completely understand the preference of fixed gear bikes but why no brakes at all? I haven't ridden a true fixed gear so I don't know how much stopping power that they actually provide using just reverse force on your legs. Why not have disc brakes still?
@mousefixedgear36098 жыл бұрын
Actually I ride with a front brake when I am working. The urban jungle throws random stuff at you, sometimes you cant even calculate the time to brake because of the hectic environment. While commuting, I will always recommend to leave at least 1 brake on. Why not disc brakes? Disc brakes weigh and need maintenance.

How strict are the police in Tel Aviv (in terms of bikes, tickets, etc)?
@mousefixedgear36098 жыл бұрын
in Terms of Bikes, the only law is not to ride on the sidewalk - Fun right? How strict are they in General? Israel has one of the most absurd police scenes in the World. With most civilians serving the Army at 18, the general public has lost all respect to Police Officers. I mean, they were soldiers, that outranks a policeman in Israel... Ive noticed that conversations with police officers are very different from the states (mostly cause nobody respects them) Instead of calling a policeman "Sir" in Israel you call them "Bro" or "Dude".

Interesting. I had no idea that was the case in Israel. I knew about the required military service (men AND women, yes?) in Isreal, but never thought about it in terms of how the public might react to the police.

Fantastic footage. Close call at 2:58. The black top streets lend themselves well to cycling. Is there ever a time when the traffic is lighter, and you can really open it up? Stretches of Tel Aviv look like Miami. Looks like a fun place to ride. Keep posting videos like this and your channel is going to explode! Subbed. Be safe out there.

Thank you! Yes around 19:00 the roads get lighter, and Saturdays are almost empty. I also think Tel Aviv has a hint of Miami with all the Palm Trees. Got any requests of certain areas in the city you would like to see? I can include them in future videos. Cheers!

Having never seen Tel Aviv with my own eyes, everything you post will be new to me. Looks like a great city. I heard surfing is big there too? Keep up the good work!
