Nah, you can duplicate both bass parts by tapping instead of plucking. Use the LH to tap on the C and slide down to the F on the E string. while using the RH to tap the G string E (8th fret) and slide it up to the A (14th fret). Only takes a few minutes to get both hands synchronized.

I like to trace the origins of music. The ABBs turned the pop blues song by the Spencer Davis Group into a jazzy instrumental. I saw the ABB only once as a 15 year old at the Warehouse in New Orleans in November 1970. The band loved the place and played there so often the patrons regarded them as the house band. They were at their top form. I had heard their music on the radio but didn't know who did it. As soon as I heard them open up with this tune, I was immediately hooked. I stood so close to the stage I could see Duane's molars when he opened his mouth. After they and Procol Harum finished their sets, they returned to stage and jammed with Fleetwood Mac founding guitarist Peter Green until almost dawn. I wish that session had been recorded. It would be legendary today.

How come I just discovered this cat? Someone else said it, but those flats sound so good with the humbucker pickups.

Thank you for posting this. All of the music for this version online has the chords capoed which puts it in D and it’s a pain to transpose ❤

wow, I've been trying this solo with tabs for a little while and came across this video. So much easier the way you teach with the overhead view. I can't believe I got it down in under 30 minutes. New sub here! Looking forward to viewing some of your other videos. Thank you!
