I'm from the USA and visit Sverige annually since my wife is from Goteborg. I love how the volvo looks. I want to either get a polestar XC60 or V60 but just afraid of reliability, which is why I'm hesitating. Many people over really don't buy volvos.

It's all such BS, all those electronics just to pretend that it's safe! While in fact the hood is so high, that you need a front camera to see pedestrians in front of you. And if a pedestrian is hit, the whole impact goes to the pelvis and guts, giving no chance to survive. How come we can no longer see crash tests with pedestrians?

I bought the xc60 t6 hybrid awd black edition plus with pilot assist and 360 camera, however when i am on autobahn and the speed limit changes from 120 to 80 kms, even by pressing the plus button the speed just doesn't change. Also no automatic speed limit change too. Do you know why such a behaviour? Even my mild hybrid qashqai qould correct the speed limit by tapping the plus button once! I am devastated, please help if you can.

I have the exact same issue! Glad I'm not crazy. Right at 63-67 mph, smooths out and becomes more of a noise issues around 70+ mph. Seems to be worse when I turn to the right on the highway. Also worse under load. Thought it was a tire balance issue, but had tires rebalanced. Glad I found this video. Called the dealership so they can look into it.

Things I would like to know before ordering please… How is the new suspension set up? I am looking at the T8 hybrid with 21inch wheels. Currently in an XC60 T8 hybrid and air suspension is jittery over uneven surfaces…would be good to know if this has been resolved! First of all: congrats (ofwel gefeliciteerd)! 3 kids here! ;-) I ordered my 2025.5 XC90 in Mulberry Red and 22” wheels at the local Volvo dealer (Breda, NL) on September 16, and production is scheduled for the 28th of January 2025. First the date was set for the first week of January, then the first week of February, then even mid-February, but for three weeks now the date is January 28, 2025. Should be fine then, right (color and wheels)?

Congrats! Volvos and Polestars now have Supercharger access in USA. Woo hoo!

I recently got the 2025 V60 T6 Essential Edition. To me, this edition is real value for money, unlike the EUR 80k (about?) that you are reviewing which is way out of range for most people. Things that the 2025 Essential Edition doesn't have and cannot be added as option are the electric boot, front seat extension, the black trim (instead of aluminum) and key-less entry. The rest is all there: the standard (!) front seats have plenty of options to find a good seating position (currently leather without additional cost), powerful petrol engine and e-motor (T6), very good standard (!) sound system and the standard (!) 18" rims look really good. BLIS and Auto Pilot can be added as option, which I did. Also added tinted windows, seat heating, tow bar and metallic paint (white). Total amount EUR 56k for a car that is very complete, drives very comfortable and sprints like a puma. The two things that are bad about the V60 2025 are the auto pilot and the speed sign recognition. Auto pilot does not adjust speed for turns / bends that are coming up. And the speed sign recognition is not accurate in the area I live in (Rotterdam area): it's unreliable, cannot be trusted and therefore useless.

Hi! Do you know if Volvo also upgraded the air suspension at the facelift XC90??. I know they did that on the standard suspension, but the air suspension? I drive a 2015 XC90 first edition (diesel). Great car but I was never very happy with the air suspension so that’s why I’m curious.
