I think you're biased here it's a very good squad even yesterday Vijay Shankar showed the glimpses to play hard and even hooda and tripathi are doing good so i am not concerned about batting at all and sam Curran is done a great batting in westindies series they gone now and Overton is hitting big sixes still I don't know why some of the guys like you telling it's bad and bowling wins you championship they have a great bowling also if csk play in Chepauk they can play noor and if they play away they can play Overton and ellis ( whom I think he is a great bowler) so i don't have a problem with this team and other teams have many problem than the problem u mentioned for CSK

Jamie Overton is never tested and tried in Indian pitches. I’m unsure how people are garnering these players all of a sudden. is it only because CSK chose these players ?

You yourself saying it’s a glimpse but how can you trust them to be your all rounder in a competitive format and all can you do is to hope they do well if they don’t You will be disappointed . At least CSK should have selected 11 strong players to play with more responsibility. I don’t see it honestly as a cricket fan For even a x1. CSK deserves 6/10 considering they are lacking power hitters, bowling options (pace) and all round abilities. But people are giving 8.5/10 I totally disagree with boasting over this team squad. Look at the players in DC, KKR, MI and even RCB to a level who makes a solid x1 and have decent back ups.
