I like both and think both of them are top 10 QB'S. Purdy is more accurate and can make plays while Stroud is your typical tall and athletic QB. Do you want someone who can throw bombs (stroud) or do you want someone who can process faster and make accurate mid field throws(Purdy) ?

I'm a 9er fan and I'm all for Purdy and I can't deny the talent of CJ, but to sit there and be like Purdy isn't even close is INSANE. The numbers for Purdy say otherwise and he's doing this consistently every year, even after a year with no offseason training bc of an injury. CJ has more physical traits, but Purdy has shined in this 9er scheme. JG didn't really put up great numbers and it was obvious that kyle didn't trust jimmy and let the ball fly like he's doing with Purdy.

Brock also came into an established culture and team. Steroid came in with rookie head coach, rookie oc.. Big difference!

As a niner fan, I love CJ, but the hate for Purdy is getting old . Last year offensive line was ranked 26th in the league and cost the niners the SB . The offensive line actually looked good again, jets, and we got lucky with puni .
