I didnt have to do a Dyno tune, I did an email tune (canned tune), I even put the stock tune and it ran fine, this has ben a very successful install for me. The biggest challenge was passing smog living in california.

the last final details are the most difficult, almost there, thanks for your support, sure need it, will be driving it within next couple months.

you will find a high pressure pump mounted somewhere with a tube running to a spray nozzle mounted somewhere in the lower intake plenum in the back

@@sacooper802 thanks. I haven't had time to look at the car thoroughly yet. I know there wasn't a intercooler on it. It must be ok to run it this way. ??? I know the tuner that tuned it never said it was needed, but I don't know. I know it dynoed at 379 rwhp and 434 trq. It us a built engine. But I feel as though it should or does have the meth kit on it to produce that power. Your thoughts??

@@alfenner3309 i dont we need the intercooler or methif you take it easy... but i cant believe you getting 379 rwhp...this is a 4.0 v6? maybe yours isnt a moddbox kit?. im guessing we only get 310hp at the crank with 9 psi for moddbox kit.

are you talking about the mounting brkt or are you talking about the electronics board that gives you a wider signal range?

@@jordanhart5195 i got got all this info initially from the guy who sells the kit. he gave me a diagram of what size resistors to use. its just two resistors that create a voltage multiplier. he has the schematics. if he cant help you then I can try to help

I actually removed that circuit board (2 reisistors) to pass california smog test and it works fine without that mod but best to include it if you can

no I did nothing with inside of engine. I dont push it very hard, I rarely drive this car, its a show car. but once a year I puh it hard at monterey car week and Ive never had any issues of any kind with engine, this is a tougher engine than you think.

@@sacooper802 oh you could have the worlds strongest engine and not enough ring gap would destroy it I was just inquiring seeing as I wanted to do the same to the previous generation v6 just wondering if ppl were out getting away with not adding any you knw

the purple gun is the worst gun harbor has but glad it worked for you. since bed liner is so thick and hard to clean up I guess you need a budget gun that you can just dispose or not worry about after project completed, I had to spray underside of car as well and only way I could do it was with a sealed cup system as you can paint upside down or invert gun without paint spilling out, glad to hear my video did you some good. SO YOU TUBERS THIS SET UP ALLOWS YOU TO TURN GUN UPSIDE DOWN AND PAINT HARD TO REACH AREAS LIKE UNDERSIDE OF CAR.

if there was a way to not have to buy Dekups adapter I would of done it myself, I dont deal with those HF guns anymore, I moved on to better guns that HF has to offer like spectrum brand or I now prefer Tekna Pro- lite guns

soupercooper my first guns were cheap from Eastwood called Rockwood. 3 gun kit for $80? I think. They have the Allen wrench insert which is why I asked.

@@jerrysummer69 i had no success without bracket hence why i installed one, i tried many types of belts, some work ok for awhile then it would slip, modd box owner thinks its not needed so maybe youll get lucky, i recommend the continental elite belt (formerly gatorbacK)

@Gio Ferro ill sell u my set, only have a few thousand miles on them at most, their ford racing style ev6 at 39 lb injectors. im sure i mention the size on my first video related to this install, this is 3rd of 3 videos released from me on this install,so again theses are ford racing ev6 style injector 39 lb and their taller so you need to add a spacer to your injector rial to get to fit

​@Gio Ferro i went with a basic devils own systam, they have a spray nozzle calculator on their website to size the correct spray nozzle for your application, i went simple with a hobbs pressure switch, a devils own pump and their spray nozzle and a solenoid valve.

@Gio Ferro i used a mechanical hobbs switch which turns on meth injection at around 2 psi and stays on until drops below 2 psi. you can raise the bar and go with computer control buyt i didnt cuz i rarely drive this car and dont race it,

I added two different resistors to the MAF harness to create a multiplier, really easy actually, I can send you a diagram and the resistor values, contact me at soupercooper at hotmail dot com

@@keithhicks5667 you need to go to my other video and i think i explain all that there, this is a follow up video. i did use bigger injectors but i dont think you absolutely have to. maybe about $2500 or so for this kit and the supercharger, much cheaper than the other kits but not as complete as the other kits, they dont even provide an intercooler anymore, need to use water methanol injection instead to cool the compressed air to avoid detonation that superchargers can create.the kit is not as complete as one would like to see

I retired my HF 68843 now but it was the best gun of all af HF guns and the best bang for your buck for sure, I cant emphasize enough that it being a HVLP gun that you need large compressor and large hose line and large air fittings to make sure you give that gun the high flow it needs , its the biggest mistake people do with HVLP guns, use 3/8" minimum hose and 25 ft long is ideal, use hi-flow air fittings from home depot or walmart has some hi-flow quick disconnects as well. use 24 psi minimun 28 psi max regulated at the gun when trigger is pulled (dynamic pressure). 120 minimun pressure regulated at the wall

i ended up switching to a tekna pro-lite, a division of devilbiss, though its $400, ive never had a 68843 harbor freight gun break on me though? what broke on you? harbor freight gun is a HVLP and they need ALOT of flow, I mean ALOT of flow and still be able to maintain 25 psi, u need minimum 3/8 air hose x 25 ft max, 120 psi at the wall and hi-flow air fittings to really get an HVLP to work out right, not too many people know this high flow requirement, you also need a good size air compressor, if not go with a conventional non HVLP gun that takes a lot less air flow requirement but wastes alot more paint and creates more overspray as well compare to an HVLP. good choice on the devilbiss finish line gun

soupercooper I've used there purple guns and they always end up spitting fluid at the tip for whatever reason. maybe a defective I have no clue. but I haven't used that one gun you show on here. What are your thoughts on it.

@@josequiroz4605 my video does not touch base on the purple guns at all, the silver harbor freight 68843 gun is way better than those piece of crap purple guns, the 68843 gun is the ONLY gun i recommend from harbor freight, but your smart and moved on like i did and use devilbiss products, or even iwata or sata is the way to go as well.
