Lyrics: Make Sure There Arent Any Squares At My Funeral by Hickey The straight and narrow road only goes to nowhere And i'm already there so why should i even care? Just as long as there aren't any squares at my funeral It's ok i'm to blame, i have made my deathbed And now i'll lie in it and finally get a little rest Just make sure that there aren't any squares at my funeral Dying' don't scare me, just promise me That there won't be any squares at my funeral

"Made in NYC" was released September 25, 2007 and recorded earlier that year. "Unknown Soldier" was originally featured on "On The Front Line" released on February 17, 2004. The Casualties only previous live album is "Live @ Fireside Bowl" in Chicago, IL released in 1999 and re-released in 2003.

Not only did you play the song well i think you even brought out the emotions behind the songs, as hearing yiur rendition made me feel the same way the original version did

This video displays all of Molly Tuttle’s special skills. It’s not just the voice and flat picking (the latter beyond superb in the solo), which you would expect. It’s also about her ears picking up the potential in less well known songs and recreating them for a new audience. And it’s also about her right hand. We think of this with her flat picking of course, but the strumming is just as virtuosic in the solo, and it is also thoroughly musical as the rhythm section here. Chords are easy in this song. Try to do what she does with her right hand when she is singing. An overall masterclass here in Molly Tuttle…

I love how Sweet Child o Mine is mildly appropriated by Hickey to honor the greatest taqueria in the Mission ❤

Major song, my favorite surprise on this compilation (though perhaps the least "ska-like" of the songs on the album). Old-school punk vibes here.

FACEACHE So now we're back to the beginning The beginning of the end And I'm wondering if you're an enemy An enemy or a friend Even though you look like me I know it's a disguise I see To cover up who and what you are We've got to keep an eye on you Before you go too far So you say that we're all equal But you're more equal than the rest You're suffering from delusions That you're not better but the best So don't look down on me You're not better than me I know what I believe You can't pressure me Don't inflict your prejudice On those who have no defence Don't try to justify yourself to me

Only it wasn't Molly's song. She was covering Rancid's original. That a bluegrass artist would cover a punk tune is what I love about it most, apart from where Molly totally made it her own.

I've listened to the Tuttle and Rancid versions. The reason Tuttle's is better is that you can actually hear the music and lyrics to the song. But Kudos to Rancid for writing the song.

Heavily disagree. Her's is technically really good but doesn't capture the true feeling behind the song.

@@shamanllamaI disagree I still like rancid version better but bialas a rancid fan but molly rendition made me feel the way listening to the original does
